these fellas were only doing their christmas shopping early. scratchers make great stocking stuffers, and a being in a gang means a lot of stockings to stuff.

What other form of lottery tickets can you steal?

I suppose you could direct the machine to print out multiple quick picks.. If everything was on..

But (I assume) that would be pretty easy to catch -- ticket was sold while store was closed -- should be an easy search

So.. Pretty much a meaningless crime.. Unless they manage to sell unscratched tickets to other people

Majority of the scratchers are losers, not even worth stealing.

If the stolen tickets were scratchers and the ticket ID numbers were recorded by either the store or the lottery, then the stolen tickets had zero value (or negative value, since the winning tickets turn into go directly to jail cards when they cash the winning cards in).

Don t you idiots know that the ticket packs are scanned before being placed in the counter and when stolen are TOTALLY UNCASHABLE ? duh
