A million (even taxed) 20 years ago is worth a lot more than a million today (CPI calculation:up about 166% or 66% more)

invested in an indexed fund..

S P 500 is up about 500%

DOW 30 only about 370

So happy for him. Can't recall ever going to Blackstone, but Alexa said it is 14 miles from where I grew up.

This feel good story really makes me smile and watching the Celtics win was icing on the cake. The week before I wanted to go home so badly, stay @ the Boston Casino and take the Orange Line to TD Garden. Sure, it would have cost an arm and a leg but what the heck

If they made some mistakes with the first million 20 years ago - they have now a second opportunity to make it right.

A Massachusetts man won a $1 million Mega Millions prize over 20 years after his wife won the same amount in the lottery.

One might say winning the lottery runs in the family now that one Massachusetts man won a $1 million prize 20 years after his wife did.

Thomas Ensko's wife no longer has sole bragging rights over winning $1 million in the lottery. On Tues., June 11, he became the next family member to win a $1 million prize.
