The ticket purchaser probably thought they bought the powerplay and thinks they lost. Lots of winnings tickets get thrown away because people don't bother checking their tickets.

I once had a roommate from Mason City, Iowa. One of the nicest guys that you'll ever meet.

I hope he's the lucky winner, but if he's not, I still hope the ticket holder comes forward.

There's some good people in Mason City and i'd hate to see the winning ticket go to waste.
