They have made a total mess of this Mass Cash 2nd drawing rollout. The Ma. lottery is usually quite efficient. I wondered immediately about both the season tickets (which they no longer sell I believe but there had to be some that had them with time left on them). I also wondered why they didn't print new play slips in advance of this. They canceled the rollout but now you cannot advance play even for 2 days which many like to do in this game because it is nightly now. You have to go in every da... [ More ]

Except that there is no jackpot involved in this game. It will continue to pay the same prize levels as it always has no matter if you play in the afternoon or evening. 5-35 pays 100k no matter when you hit it. The mid day drawing is at 2 PM. Not that many will play it compared to the night drawing but not because they will be asleep.

This really sucks for loyal Mass Cash players. What's going to happen is exactly the same thing that happened with Florida Fantasy5 when the Florida Lottery added an additional Fantasy5 drawing each day in March of 2023.

The mid-day Mass Cash drawing will have a low jackpot amount, and the evening drawing will have a somewhat larger but still reduced jackpot amount due to ticket sales for the mid-day drawing siphoning off money that formerly went to the evening drawing.

Most players are... [ More ]

Used to play this one and Megabucks years ago with Season tickets. For some unknown reason, MA State lottery, now with two Dorchester offices switched to a Georgia outfit to handle Season tickets. Come Feb 2024 they completely did away with Season tickets and just prior to that they made it so residents could not purchase Season ticket @ retailers---I used to have friends get mine and mail them to me. It was MUCH cheaper that way. I apologize for going off subject!

Glad that this is not... [ More ]
