It depends; if you win the jackpot it becomes irrelevant whether you PowerPlayed or not. But if, and more likely, you are lucky enough to match lower prizes you will be kicking yourself for not going with the PowerPlay.$100,000 is sweet but $200,000 - $500,000 is sweeter.

The higher the Powerball jackpot, the less sense it makes to purchase PowerPlay.
