I wasn't trying to dictate policy. I was just expressing my views on the idea that the Chief brought up. Anybody is free to put up any amount of any numbers in any fashion.How did this suddenly become so complicated? And what were we trying to do in the first place? Actually, coming up with the PowerBall number has nothing to do with the Pigskin Challenge per se. I really don't think it holds the same potential for promoting the improvement of prediction skills. It's only a 1:42 shot, and it wouldn't take long before it was nailed with just one number. Then what? Anybody who wants to take a stab at it can do so. JAG331:It's not that I want credit on the PB # this time, I was just wondering how the rest might feel about including PB number's in with the regular challenge. I alway's use (6) PB or MB number's whith my Wheels regardless of whether I play PB or MM.Let me know what you think of the idea and how you might include it in your Challenge.Chief

I think a prediction on the PB is good. You can only match it once though, so the rules might need to be a bit different. Aye, this is where Name That Tune comes in! Wink, I can name that PB with three selections...or something like that.

Aye...Apparently the Chief wants credit for hitting the PB and I feel he's probably right. Maybe when we list our white ball selections we can list say 3 or 5 PB numbers. But if we do, we should set the same number of PB listings for everyone. What do you think

aye'As one of my PB number's, I had #16 also.I know we aren't figuring the Powerball number as counting for any of the number's but that might be something you could add as a different part of the Challenge.Keep the 5 to 16 number challenge as it is, but add the Powerball challenge on the same spread.Just a thought... We all managed to catch some numbers, but pigskin's record remains intact. I'm glad that all of you found the new guidelines for the challenge to be satisfactory. I sincerely hope that the new rules will promote lottery prediction as a serious pursuit in addition to advancing improvement of prediction skills.Do any of you remember the old TV game show called Name That Tune ? For some reason, I can envision this challenge evolving into something akin to the Bid-a-Note segment of that game. Actually, I'm shooting for being able to narrow my selections down to six number... I'm entering the The Pigskin Challenge for Saturday's PowerBall drawing with a field of nine numbers. For me, nine numbers will work better for the amount of coverage I want in putting my combinations together. I'll be using the same red PowerBall number with all of my lines. The Pigskin Challenge 1. A challenger must declare himself to be a participant in the challenge for the current PowerBall drawing when posting his numbers. Don't forget to do this.
