Flash works fine with firefox. You might want to consider upgrading from 98se. Not exactly the most modern OS there.Firefoxs works on 98se though if you have 64mb ram a 233mhz or higher. Supports both modern flash and java plugins. Windows 98-xp + server 2003 supported, as well as mac os 10.1+ and linux.

A little.The first thing I do is completely uninstall Internet Explorer and cut it out from Win98SE, then I reinstall it as a separate program.Then I update Direct X and Java and other things, I also customize Win98SE and Internet Explorer.

I don't think you need that much - it's probably slowing down your computer.

About 90% of Internet browsers have Flash enabled. (That's a real statistic.

As for firewalls and such, I have some free stuff that I use, Zone Alarm, AdAware, SpyBot, AVG AntiVirus, SpyWare Guard, SpyWare Blaster and MRU Blaster, among other things.

Because of security reasons I de-activated my Macromedia Flash, but I will see if I can reactivate it in time for the Sunday chat.It should be interesting, how will we use it and where on the forum will it be, I have never used anything like that, I only come here to the Lottery Post forum so far.I am at a loss as to how I can use it or get into it.

woohoo...this should prove to be interesting from both an entertainment aspect as well as informational aspect. Personally, I think it will be great in that perhaps over due time, several rooms could be established that would be subject oriented to assist in Excel or other programming related issues. Several years ago, I participated in something of simliar nature with AOL and really enjoyed it. People have been requesting Chat for a long time. The manufacturer of the chat server told me that they are working on enabling video capability in the future, so if this turns out to be popular we can do all kinds of cool things. Also, the server can handle guest speaker chats, where questions can go to the speaker one at a time. All this really depends on what kind of consistent participation we have. I hope everyone gives it a try, because it's really nice software.
