Thanks Aye and maddog. I was rather surprised then confused. I glanced at the results last night and noticed only the number 3 which was the power play, which I thought was the powerball. I guess I better read more carefully so that I don't throw away any money that I may have won. (I save all of my tickets though)Good luck on Saturdaylitebets

RJOH:Thank you so much for the statistical info. It further validates the performance values I am now using to qualify my final number selections. I have used those figures going back to January 2004, but it produced too many final numbers for my budget.I went back and identified my pool numbers according to your info. It increased the final number of 8 to 13 numbers, AND, it produced three (3) numbers to go with the Power Ball # 31!!!!!!!!!!This just might be the answer I have been serar... [ More ]

urug2000,The last 16 drawings covered 38 numbers. I checked the last 200 drawings and in 62 of those drawings all 5 winning numbers had hit in the previous 16 drawings. I hope you don't regret reducing your pool to just 8 after the drawing. Good luck to you.RJOh

Just returned from getting my PB numbers.What a shocking trip this one has been. My initial pool of numbers was 38 numbers.My qualifying (based on number performance) method left me with only 8 numbers. First I was shocked at the few numbers. Then, as I thought on it on how and why, I could no decide on anything. How could this happen, and how do I play only 8 numbers. To Play or Not To Play.Finally I remembered Todd's wheels.
