Obviously there is something of the kind in Illinois..Actually what the real case is. Illinois bought into a peice of Iowas Lottery.. I believe it was going bankrupt..

Robert,Once Illinois post their Pick3 and Pick4 results, they are a public record for anyone to use, why would anyone pay a fee to use them? Once a combination of numbers are picked in a lottery, can they be considered intellectual property? I saw a post the other day where one the game company filed a law suit trying to establish a game matrix as their intellectual property.RJOh

There working agreement is that they pay Illinois a certain percentage of there sales..I was in Illinois when they went into there so called agreement...

Talking about online casinos booking lottery bets and whether it's ethical or not reminded me Iowa uses Illinois' Pick-3 and Pick-4 draws so I wrote the Iowa lottery and asked what Illinois gets out of it. Knowing which web sites to post/not to post is very easy for me to know, but difficult to describe.The sites that I do not allow linking for are those types of web sites that sell their wares specifically to lottery players, or sometimes web sites that are in direct competition with LP. Those types of links are very valuable -- the type certain companies would pay to post.Sites that are OK are sites that are completely informational in nature, not looking to sell anything.However, it is not OK

I agree. Why make others rich, if they don't pay for ads? Just to be sure, we cannot post anybody else's website on LP? I ask cos I have seen websites posted that were not hidden by asterisks or anything else, and that were up for a while. Thanx.

The word censors are there for a reason. If you don't like them, then don't let the door hit you on the way out. There is a censor on certain bad curse words, and a 2-3 web site names that people couldn't resist posting to the forums. Todd is a stand up guy and if he feels certain content shouldn't be posted here that's his call. I don't think any one person except maybe Todd should be able to post direct affiliate ad links here. It's like pasting ad posters on another store's windows. Todd,It's your site...you call the shots and we all gotta respect that.I'm personally against betting in that format because it does not benefit my state. It benefits off-shore online casinos.
