Signing anything before the end of the specific time frame of the current contract can and will confuse many of the new people that may join as to when it was to take affect! That's going to cause some serious headaches! The pay as you go for each and every draw is the most effective way to avoid any confusion and complications down the road

Do people actually sign forms and stuff about leaving? I did one pool, about three or four years ago. We played two draws because the number was big. Compared to todays numbers, it was probably $30.00! Anyway, every one contributed and got a repro copy of the tickets and walked away. Won a few bucks the first drawing, re-invested, lost it all and some one around the world hit. I would haver thought a copy of the tickets would count, and no copy wouldn't count.

I feel that if I didn't play they won, that was my chance to win I blew it BIG time. You can't honestly expect to get a piece of the pie when you did not invest in THAT specific pool for that specific draw. It's ludicis (sp) to think that you could give them $3.00 collect even $10.00.I HAD MY CHANCE BLEW IT!!!!!!!!!!Those people that say hire a lawyer would get your feelings seriously hurt if I had been one of those that had given money in that pool.

I don't play in pools for this reason!! I think you get lucky like this once mabey twice in your entire life, so if it happens when you forgot your dollar to throw in the pool your out of luck. I don't think I would have to find another job because the winners would eventually quit anyways. But then again I would also laugh/cry because of the irony. I always cringe when I have to stand in line with everyone when the jackpots get huge because after the When I win I'm going to buy conversatio... [ More ]

It's not YOUR pool if it didn't have any of YOUR money in it to purchase the tickets. Congratulate your co-workers and get back to work. If the truth was know you've probably missed some good opportunities before but you just didn't know anyone who profited from them. A least now you rubbed elbows with some millionaires.

After hearing that a group of people at work formed a lottery pool in California and won the Mega Millions $315 million jackpot on Tuesday, you just know that there was probably at least one other person who played in that group, but decided not to play that day, for whatever reason.Maybe they thought they were just throwing their money away and would never win anything, so they stopped playing in the lottery pool. Maybe they just accidentally left their $3 sitting on the table at home and ther... [ More ]
