I'll just add my 2 cents here:I received my packet of information from the Executive director of the Hoosier Lottery about 2 weeks ago. There was (IMHO) not a lot of substantial information there. Thoth:Ideally, yes, it would be possible.Indiana has the Access to Public Records Act, our state equivalent of the federal Freedom of Information Act. The Hoosier Lottery claims they're exempt from these laws because they're not a true state agency, but a privately-held corporation. fellas maybe you should put a packet of the information off to the local feds bureau there in Indiana. Since you all say the Indiana lottery is extorting money from it citizens then possibly they can look into it. If the local feds cant help then ship the stuff off to DC and sent it to the congressional office. The payouts speak for themselves they can do comparison checks and run the receipts versus payout to Indianaian's compared to states with equal population.

Mainly because my picks are based on many of my favorite numbers which have a habit of hitting everywhere but when I play them in my home town. Uncle Jim when I say threshold limit I am referring to the amount that can be bet before a number would have to pay out an exuberant amount above and beyond a limit that is set whether that limit is set by the amount taken in one days receipts or an amount that is set say at 21 million or whatever amount that is established. There is actually a report on the lottery terminal that will give you a print out of what numbers have been cutoff. And today's lucky cutoff number was (Drum roll please)...9999! I spoke to a Hoosier Lottery rep today who doesn't believe that 8888 was blocked. I asked and was told that this rep had no knowledge of any numbers being blocked and then that same rep stated they didn't believe it happened.Of course this same rep had no knowledge that the Hoosier Lotto jackpot annuity was changed from 25 to 30 years. In 1984, Nick Perry and some of his friends bought a ton of Daily Number plays using only the numbers 4 and 6. Nick Perry supposedly put lead paint in the balls that were not numbered 4 and 6. When the drawing happened, 666 came up, resulting in an enormous payout, and accusations of fixing the drawing for Perry. Ever since then lotteries have put a cap on how much can be bet on a number.

You guys will not believe what happened to me this evening! I have been studying the patterns for the Hoosier Lottery Pic 4 for the past couple of months and felt that Quad 8888's had a chance to win. So I stopped at the store on the way home from work to by my evening pic 4 using the number 8888. Amazingly, the machine would not give me a ticket with the quad 8888's.
