If you look at it from the bright side, the animals are getting in shape; they working out, specially horses and dogs. People have been posting their secret winning systems at LP for a long time but not the real secret of how they actually make money, they leave that to the LP members to figure out for themselves. So far that secret is safe because no one has come forward with any documented proof that any of those systems actually do make money. If you're trying to win a multi-million dollars jackpot, the system only have to work once, but who's to say that's not just getting lucky.

I've seen those consistent winners in the store now and then. Some are consistently winning $30 to $50 while spending $100 and some are laundering money they made from drug dealing. That's actually not a bad strategy. You'll lose about half and then pay taxes, but it's a lot easier to spend money with a legitimate source when you want to pay for something significant like a car or house.

MANY people can and DO make a living off $1000.00 a week. As a matter of fact MANY people actually work a job and make less than that, so I know one CAN live off $1000.00 per week tax free money. I'm certain not all LP memebers have a job that earns over $1000.00 per week and would be VERY Happy with this amount of money on a weekly basis.

Short of winning a multi-million jackpot I don't think it's even possible. Every pick 3 player hits a loosing streak. Maybe if you lived frugally and owned your own house in an area with low tax you could win less and pull it off but the only way you can think you can live off pick 3 or pick 4 is if you just started playing and had a few hits.

I don't think so. Those small pick 3/pick 4 drawings only give back half of the odds. For example the odds of winning the top prize is 1 in 1000 but the payout is only $500. Seems like you would have to be right more than double the odds (i.e. 2 out of every 1000 tickets). The math on the larger drawings is bit more simple and I don't play the smaller lottos, so I could be wrong on this one, but I don't think you could ever come out ahead on the pick 3 or 4 drawings. I've found that if you dedicate you time to the lottery as if it were your business and do those things entrepreneurs do to be successful it can be profitable, but when other things get in the way it is easy to take your eyes off the prize and lose and getting it back is harder than maintaining it.

I say No the numbers are too radical. You may be able to win a few thousand but in the long run you are only going to break even if your lucky.. Even the players that win the large LOTTO millions usually go broke in a few years .. For me the 3 and 4 picks are only a hobby.

Cashman, hitting is not the problem. It's making a profit that is the most difficult part. You spend $50 to make $60, that's hard to live off of....And no matter how many hits you get, the question is How much did you spend in order to get that hit ? It probably is true that very few people would be able to make a living that way, but I think it is possible. I'd say if anyone is seriously considering it, you should have a lot of money saved up and a plan to get back to work fast if it looks like it isn't working out. You'd have to really see it as a business and take it seriously. And of course consider anyone else that may be dependant on your paycheck.

I think you can do it...you may have to bite those fingernails pretty close some days, but with the right betting strategy it can be done, especially with Cash 3. But...and a big but ....I don't think you could retire off playing it. Just enough, as tntea says, to have some extra nice things, like a vacation, or have your car payment taken care of, etc.

I chose maybe. I've never hit that often or know anyone who nets a grand a week. The lottery is a game of chance, so even people who hit consistently might have several bad weeks.
