their customer service stinks....they have bad attitudes at Comcast. Any time I have a problem, I just calling them. Kinda stuck right now. SBC Global isn't out here yet...........when they are I am so gone from Comcast. My daughter has the SBCGlobal and loves it...she used to have Comcast.

They told me to go to the blacklist address....I did so and asked for a prompt response...that was this afternoon.. I am waiting till tomorrow and I am calling and going to talk to someone who has som... [ More ]

Comcast just laid cable in my 'hood and pretty soon the inevitable knock on the door will come.

I can't wait to see the expression on the poor salesperson's face when I tell him/her that for one thing, I'm happy with my DirecTV and local phone company DSL line, and then I get to throw in the poor DSL service they provide at my wife's place of employment - then the coup de grace will be their blocking my favorite website's messages ?

Ahhh the power of cable companies. NJ is trying to pass a bill to limit their power and the airwaves are flooded with pro-cable propaganda. Knowing how the people of NJ have voted on critical items in the past, you can look for a cable dominated state for centuries to come! I wrote them but they still have not responded to my emails.....ah...escalation manager....alrighty will try it.

Sandy and all other comcast people, try this on for size. As soon as you get one of those low rung turkeys on the line, jump in a tell them that you want to speak to an escalation manager and right now! Don't back down, stick to your guns and you'll win! Just sit back and watch what happens next to your call! It's fun to use inside information once you get it! Heck, you may just end up getting a month of service free once it's all said and done with

I think you're right.

Most importantly, I think many big ISPs, Comcast included, are just plain lazy. Instead of actually investigating spam complaints, they block IP addresses first, and never look to see who or what they just blocked.

They say it's based on volume of complaints . Well, DUH! Of course Lottery Post will generate more complaints, purely because of how many e-mails we send to our enormous user base. If they would stop for one second and look at the content of t... [ More ]

I work for an ISP and customers get mad because we dont filter anything that comes through. LOL! Unless messages are filled with sexually explicity material I dont think they should try and filter what comes through and what doesnt because you never know what the end user needs

the guy just hung up on me........................gonna calm down...then try again. I just wrote to that blacklist address.....we shall see what happens next.........that is the trouble when you talk to the guy low rung on the ladder.......he wouldn't put me through to anyone else.

Check out the PM I sent you Sandy -- for one of YOUR bounced messages (from LP to you). See the line near the bottom where it says blocked for abuse . I guess they consider private message notifications to you to be abuse , eh

If so, Comcast is currently blocking your e-mails from Lottery Post!

We see that these things happen from time to time, when an ISP gets the bonehead idea that our e-mails are spam.

Any large forum web site generates lots of e-mail, but unfortunately most ISPs don't take the time to actually look at the e-mail contents before categorizing a large quantity of e-mail as spam .

I have sent multiple e-mails to Comcast to get them to un-block our web address, but they have not even responde... [ More ]
