Be consoled knowing the post-tweaking methods aren't working all that well. What I described above is about where I'm going to have to back up to.

If you mosey around the site and push buttons here and there it might come to you how the place navigates and how to follow the information.

Congratulations.

You ought to be able to check the Yesterday Winners and use the pulldown menu to adjust it to Aug 31 to get an idea where it worked today.

I'm still tweaking it, don't have any idea where it works and where it doesn't. I'm clueless, except to the extent that it did okay on pick 4, pick 5, pick 6 today. Might have been a complete bust on keno. Haven't seen any results.

hi rip wanted to get back to you to let you know on Tues I had an 8 of 10 playing around 12:30 pm as usual. check my earlier post which had 12 numbers I believe. I reduced them to 10 playing these 16 22 23 25 33 38 39 51 55 57.The payoff was $500.00 not bad. One more would have paid $10,000. Happy days are here again lol

wanted to know if your pick 4 theory is working in Mass. or in any particular state

I'm still tweaking it. I'm thinking it might do better on the predictions page tonight. However, match 20 still ain't in sight so far as I can tell.

This one works better on pick 4, thus far, than on keno. I only started testing it that way yesterday, but it did okay for the 30th, considering it was the first attempt. I'm interested in Keno also, I used to be pretty good at bagging a pick-4 every other day, spending about $40 to do it (I think back then it paid $225 for a pick-4).

I was kinda testing the same theories I have for PB against Keno charts, it hasn't worked out the way I was hoping it would.

Any luck? I checked the prediction page/blog but didn't see profitable winners.

Have you tried to narrow the field by looking @ numbers 1 up or 1 down from previous draw? It has been really consistent with Ontario Keno since last year! Maybe 8 -12 come up every day...It might be helpful as a sort of filter?

I usually can get 1/3 of my picks spot on but usually spread over 3 or 4 lines of seven. Not very good o... [ More ]

You appear to be the only one with even a potentially mild interest in how this works, so I'll caution you. I tried the method with the tweaks described in the post above (blog entry yesterday, or the day before) and only ended up with 8 matches in 23 picks. Not even close to good enough with that many picks.

One of the several errors I made working that ATCAN prediction up yesterday was in failing to use the August moon phases, beginning backward from this one.

The process I outlined above involved several hours work, but it was an experiment and while I had a gut feel I was on the right track, I didn't pursue it as far as I could have.

I'm now convinced the same process performed for a draw, say a week from now, carrying it out more thoroughly with more time spent on it will give you all 20 numbers for any given draw.

That's not the strategy I'd suggest, but it's your call.

The one I'd try would be to get the numbers that hit at 7:41 am.

I'd watch for them to begin hitting around 1 pm at 17 minute intervals and use my own judgement when to begin playing them hard.

I'd certainly play those numbers at 2:06 pm, and the draws at 17 minute intervals afterward if they seem to be hitting, until they cease.

I'd play them again at 8:03 pm and 8:20 pm if they hit hard at 2:06.

A setback.

For several days I've believed I was on the brink of having keno figured out. Yesterday I tried a method I thought might be the final step, but I only had four lines available for posting in the ATCAN predictions slot.... But backtesting from them it seemed obvious where I'd gone wrong.

So today I went through the tedious process again. I was reasonably certain I knew all 20 numbers that would hit tonight on Atlantic Canada Keno:

I don't think there's a lot of interest in keno, rtxxx. I haven't tried what you mentioned because there's no keno here.

I'm mostly interested in the 17-34 etc cycle I mentioned above. I gather you didn't try it.

rip I got a memo from someone reading the post and told me when I hit the 8 of 12 keno he takes those and plays what he calls wrap around keno meaning he would play this set along with mine. Here is what he gave me.

15 17 22 26 28 31 33 35 39 51 55 56 so I will try adding this to my play tomorrow around the same time frame.

I wonder if anyone else has tried using this with any luck. A response would be nice.

rip If it means anything here are the set of numbers i played between sun transit and moon set on Sunday when I had hit 8 of 12. 16 21 32 52 27 34 37 54 57 36 38 53.

Sorry I did not put them in ascending order.

Great thread, Rip! I love Keno even though I know it's not one of the better payout games. When I go to the casinos I always play it on the machines. What Coin Toss said is very true about the guy who plays blocks of numbers. Just about everyone plays blocks of numbers, that seems to be the way to go. You might have to play around with it and watch the first several draws after moonrise up to 34 minutes (I think)..... I haven't had the opportunity to test it.... it might even be a combination of the first 3 or 4 draws and the numbers that repeat during them that ends up being important.

What you should see as the sequence develops during the day is a series of repeating numbers from the first draws, then leaving those repeaters behind and picking up numbers that haven't yet repe... [ More ]

If you can get the numbers from the first draw after moonrise to use as a base point or starting place, the previous night in the current situation, then compile those numbers with a few transit times I've suggested, the absolute best time for the nearest repition of those numbers will be at the centerpoint of the transit time and the last draw before moonset.

Just speculating.

Something to try.... might work when the moon's full and high during the hours you're playing, or even when there's just a lot of it illuminated, but it's got to be above the horizon at the time of play.

Try this by observation first:

Record a series of draws and the times going back a couple of hours

See if the numbers repeat from the draws an hour and 8 minutes prior to it,

34 minutes prior to it, and 17 minutes prior to it

If, when the evening's over and MI and WA have reported in, if it looks as though this is something that is on a general right track that just needs kinks pulled out of it, I'll try to fine tune it. It ought to work for the four minute draws easily enough ..... just a matter of studying the tracks, what bushes they pee on, what trees they hide behind.

After removing the decimals on those numbers yesterday and rounding them off some interesting things happened. Those occuring most frequently didn't hit for ATCAN. But they did hit 8 of 10 on Michigan Keno, matched 5 on Quebec, and matched 4 on Washington.

Those numbers don't appear to have done well enough to warrant an explanation. I was chasing a hunch, but if it's going to go anywhere it certainly didn't do it tonight. I'll just watch them a couple of days.

As for the 50 no hitters, I've come across several techniques that work fairly well for doing it inconsistently. Came across them by accident. Which is how this one happened.

I had many years of casino work, mostly in the dice pit.

Those numbers in the center of the payout, the sucker bets that all the gambling authors warn people not to bet...especially the one roll bets, 2, 3, 11, and 12, combined that's a Horn Bet ....

It is absolutely uncanny how when they do show up, they show up in groups. In fact, for the potential payoff, paralying a horn bet is probably one of the strongest bets there is. Not a smart bet, but a strong bet.

While I'm sitting here waiting for Atlantic Canada to come in I think I'll say a couple of things about something interesting and a bit bizarre about number behavior on Keno games.

The combinations posted below went onto the predictions page several days ago for a week of consecutive draws. For a few days they chugged along pulling 5 and 6 of 10.

Then, today, what you see below happened. 50 combinations with zero hits. Unusual enough to cause the lotteries to pay $2 a pop for them.... [ More ]
