I've been thinking about the proper place to put a thread about random number behavior as it relates to keno, roulette, lottery play and various other activities.
I wanted a place where it won't be in the way of anyone.
Maybe there'll be nobody interested in discussing all this. If not the thread will fall off the page and die quietly. But, at least, it won't be driven off in a matter of hours by the volume of posts elsewhere.
If anyone's interested in exchanging some ideas, feel free to post something saying so, and the thread will go on until nobody is.

These are the last three draws from Atlantic Canada Keno:

My initial thought is that any number in the decimal group that hasn't hit during the last three days will hit tonight. But I might have it all wrong. It might be the relationship will be frequency of occurance within the decimal group.
Just running it up on the flagpole for watching and to see, if anything pops, if it generates discussion.

While I'm sitting here waiting for Atlantic Canada to come in I think I'll say a couple of things about something interesting and a bit bizarre about number behavior on Keno games.
The combinations posted below went onto the predictions page several days ago for a week of consecutive draws. For a few days they chugged along pulling 5 and 6 of 10.
Then, today, what you see below happened. 50 combinations with zero hits. Unusual enough to cause the lotteries to pay $2 a pop for them.
You'll see this frequently, though usually not a whole 50 lines of it.

Can you do it again? If so, you might back your way into a winning scenario.
How many numbers would your system, if reproducable, eliminate?

I had many years of casino work, mostly in the dice pit.
Those numbers in the center of the payout, the "sucker bets" that all the gambling authors warn people not to bet...especially the one roll bets, 2, 3, 11, and 12, combined that's a "Horn Bet"....
It is absolutely uncanny how when they do show up, they show up in groups. In fact, for the potential payoff, paralying a horn bet is probably one of the strongest bets there is. Not a "smart" bet, but a strong bet.

One night I was on the stick and a guy rolled a 12. I asked him if he wanted to bet on aces the next roll (2). No. Two craps aces. "You want eleven this time sir?" No. "Yo-leven, field come eleven." This went on for five rolls, sometimes when you work in it you can just "see" it coming.
Another thing that was pretty uncanny was 11 after a hard ten, and "second roll elevens", that is, if a shooter stablished his point, especially a ten, the next roll would be an eleven.
One night we told a player to take a stack of chips (twenty to a stack) and just use that stick to bet second roll elevens. (Pays 15 to one). That stack of chips never went below ten chips.

In this one particular casino, a five spot paid $1,000. We had a player who was a "Hi-roller" (he loved those dice bets mentioned above) and he also loved to play Keno in our joint because of the $1,000 five spot. He had the bankroll to do what follows, and as he said, you'll hit a five spot before you ever, if ever, hit an eight spot. So he would play a $1 five spot "$50 worth" - he'd play it for $50, and when he hit, he won 50 X's 1,000, = $50,000. He hit consistently.
He always played like this:
2 11 12 21 22
He always played "blocks of numbers" that connected, or a two group and three group that connected, like 11 12 and then 5 15 25.
This guy's lick was incredible. One time while he was waiting for the payoff on a $50 five spot solid hit, he was playing the 25 cent video Keno machines while waiting for his money, and hit them twice for $1950.
This casino group also had a casino on Boulder Highway that had a western store. So tghe guy had hit another fove spot in our joint, asked for the limo to take hom down to the Boulder Highway property to go to the Western Store - hot a foive spot at that casino for $50,000, and hit their video keno machine while waiting for the payoff there!
One time we had a mandantory meeting at work and one guy was really upset about having to come in. On the way into the meeting, he stopped at Keno and played a $1 eight-spot for the next fifty draws. On his ticket he played all the eights, 8, 18, 28, etc...but the Keno writer made an error and wrote all the sixes (this was before the computerized tickets). the next morning he comes in to work, and he had hit a solid eight - the sixes hit! Blind luck, or what?

Those numbers don't appear to have done well enough to warrant an explanation. I was chasing a hunch, but if it's going to go anywhere it certainly didn't do it tonight. I'll just watch them a couple of days.
As for the 50 no hitters, I've come across several techniques that work fairly well for doing it inconsistently. Came across them by accident. Which is how this one happened.

Interesting stories, Coin Toss. In fact you've had an interesting life, had an awfully lot of opportunity to watch the work of the coincidence coordinators.
I tend to be on a track that assumes it ain't blind luck, but time will have to tell.

Just as an FYI, Rip, everyone, Blaise Paschal is said to be the inventor of roultette.
One of his oft quoted sayings is, "Oh the trouble man gets into because he can not be content to stay in his troom."
Whether it's An american whell, meaning 0 and 00, or a European wheel, just 0 and no 00, the numbers on a roulette table, 1- through 36, add up to 666.

After removing the decimals on those numbers yesterday and rounding them off some interesting things happened.   Those occuring most frequently didn't hit for ATCAN. But they did hit 8 of 10 on Michigan Keno, matched 5 on Quebec, and matched 4 on Washington.
I'm guessing Michigan was already in when I posted them yesterday evening, so I might be accused of faking an orgasm on this, so I'm going to keep the frequent hitters from those numbers yesterday with the intention of seeing whether they wander into WA and Quebec tonight for a stronger showing, whether they lose interest in MI, whatever.

Going through the same process as I did yesterday to come up with those numbers above, I've done it again for today, minus the decimals.

In the interest of destroying any credibility I might have, I'm going to make a wild leap in speculation and follow a line of logic that seems to hold water, even though it makes no sense.
I'm going to speculate that each of the following groups of numbers will match 8 on one of the six daily keno draws tonight. ATCAN, MI, NY, Ont, Quebec, WA:
