Oh, dear, I'm sorry, CWILSON, but that was the original drawing that you wind up with at the end of the strings after the workout. I used last Friday's drawing (042) so that one doesn't count. We've had 4 days on the test so far, results are pretty slim.

Calif--no hits

Fla.--1 box (238) and 1 straight (541) from today

Geo.--no hits

Ohio--no hits

Texas--1 box (162)

I think I'm going to run a little test here with 5 states. Let's see what happens for a week. I'm going to do the patterns on the plus side. Maybe next week I'll try them on the minus side. If anyone else wants to join in, tell me what state you're in and I'll get you on here. Thanks!

I have only tested with our evening pick 3 because I don't play the midday. By all means, you can try it and see what you come up with. But I tend to think since a midday game and a nighttime game are sort of 2 seperate games that it might be better to do them individually. I'd be interested to see how mixing the 2 would work. it's working better with plus minus formula here in ON.....draws even touching each other....without plus formula it was guessing game........i test only 30 games.....so far so good...........thank you.........

Nice to hear from you CW! The latest news on the strings is that I have been fooling around with plussing and minusing them. This is so it will give you a better chance to get those right numbers in the right pattern. What works for one state doesn't necessarily mean it will work in another so we have to shake them up a little. Great observation there..

Backtesting would be easier with a program that would set up the strings and the combos..

Everything in this game is worth a try to get those picks narrow down to less numbers and more wins.

Pac, you could probably use one string indefinitely and I'm sure sooner or later you'll get a straight in there but all my systems are based on using current drawings with the thought that your next drawings derive from those. I've tested up to 20 days on using the same strings and they still had hits but would I risk that if I was playing real money? Probably not. I'd say a week is good, 2 weeks is probably better. Cool!! You keep at it. You'll get a straight in there yet, I know it. One hint: try to use a drawing that has 3 different numbers so you get a good mix of numbers. Stay away from the doubles and triples.

Thanks for stopping in, Pac. Good to hear from you! Just make sure that all the lines are lined up even, that's all. As for tweaking around with this, go for it!! I find that the strings work for quite a few days but yes, try changing them daily also. I'll have to try that myself. But just like my pick 5 strings, they don't always hit right out of the gate, sometimes they need a few days to come around. Can't hurt to try both ways. And, please, tell me what you discover!! Don't worry, I can get the jist of it even though it's crooked. This has happened to me also.

Great idea, wondering how it can be tweaked, but so far so good.

I'm gonna try this in Florida with the past 30 days and see.

How often do I need to change strings?. I'm gonna try changing them on a daily basis also and see if that works too.

The better answer is that you should use tables to align text. You start by inserting a table into your post with the Insert Table button and then use the other toolbar buttons to the right of that one to configure it. Okay, all you paper and pencil fans, get your tablets out because you have some homework to do!

For those of you who may have been watching my pick 5 strings, I decided to try them out for the pick 3 and they show some promising results! I'm giving my buddy Kola some credit here because he's the one who put pick 3 and strings in the same sentence once that got me to thinking, so, thank you, Kola!
