Some of those theories are discussed (with examples) in great detail at this site http://mathworld.wolfram.com/

It will take a bit of nosing around, but so far, everywhere I have been has been free and I got a few good ideas from it. Sadly, most of it is way over my head.

Thank you, I hope this is helping many people. My overall idea here is to disseminate as much information as possible to the public. I didn't want to make one large topic, because there's just way too much information to make just one topic. Yes, this is leading somewhere, however, it will take time to tell the whole story. I like any good story though, let's not take a peek at the last page. Just take your time, sit back, sip some coffee or tea and read.

I, like everybody here I'm sure, am very grateful for what you are trying to lead us to in these equations and functions you have been presenting. I'll admit, that some of it is over my head but I'm trying to wrap my brain around this. May I try to clarify?

So far then, what we need to figure out for our individual lotteries:

1. Combinatorial Distribution

2. Generalized Rate of Reoccurence Distribution

3. Average Rate of Reoccurence Distribution
