Maddog, yes it is an interesting race. The top 3 contenders all ran in the same race last and finished 1-2-3 in that one separated by only 1 1/2 lengths at the finish. The distance of this race will be the key. I think #7 and #2 have the advantage there. # 8 has a class advantage and I think he'll find himself playing the role of pace presser today so he should be in a good position heading for home. Can he last that long is the only question.

Very close for me, but I like the #2 to prevail in a close race with the #7/8

Today's race is the 7th at Santa Anita. San Luis Obispo Hdcp. Grade II Purse $150K 1 1/2M (T) 4up

This is a marathon on the turf. The 1 1/2 mile distance will be a difficult assignment for the young 4 year old I have picked on top, # 8 Obrigado (4/1), but like a Jelly-of-the-Month Club membership...he just keeps on giving.
