I am all about positive thinking, and manifestation. Although it does not always work quickly, it does seem to help more than not. I probably have over 50 books in my library on the subject, as well as the power of intention and how to utilize it in order to bring you what you want in life. I loved the DVD What the Bleep do we know, and The Secret, and am currently reading The Intention Experiment: Using Your Thoughts to Change Your Life and the World.

You're entitled to anything you feel that you are. It has long been a false misconception that God's wish is for all to remain poor, and just barely get by; and be content with what you have regardless of how little it is. That is not true. It is also another misconception that only good works is rewarded, or should be; which also is not always the case. To hang onto such frugal thoughts is only hanging on to poverty, as you feel as though you do not deserve more than that.

There's a story about in ancient India or somewhere, when somebody really had it in for somebody else they would give them a young elephant as a gift.

They knew as the elephant grew it would take more, and more, and more of that person's resources to feed the elephant.

I heard this story in reference to computers in schools. The conversation was how much money it took to equip a school pre-computers and now. Think about that one.

Nobody is entitled to anything.

We have folks south of the border coming north because they can have a better life here, folks up north are coming down here because their national health care is worthless if you have a catastrophic illness, and I could go on and on about folks from other nations coming here, not because they 'deserve' it, but because for the most part they will EARN it.

There is a whole buncha things wrong with the world, and I don't have all the answers.

I feel entitled to the basic necessities in life, the means to get around (including in this rotten weather) food on the table, and a roof over my head, and access to medical care if I need it. Whatever jackpot amount would secure that much, would be enough. I won a jackpot once but had to share it so it didn't cover all of the above needs; I feel that if I beat high odds I deserve a big prize.

As has been said, entitled is a strong word. Sometimes I feel like I should win because of the amount of work I put into choosing my own numbers, but that's much different.

The huge lotteries are set up to make money. People deserve respect and kindness. No one ever deserves to win a jackpot.

A) Entitled is, at least in my mind, a very powerful word. When used in combination with deserve , you will catch a lot of grief as you have quickly observed.

Well, no really is entitled to a jackpot. It's a game in which numbers are chosen at random. If you win you win, and if you don't you don't. Still, I would much rather prefer that the win come from using one of my systems as opposed to a quick pick. I think if you feel you are entitled to a jackpot, then you really shouldn't be playing the game at all. Today, when I heard the news that there were two winners in the East, I'd loosen the energy to work. I would like to call it, Jackpot Syndrom.

I felt very odds this morning. And, I just kept wonder why I did not win. I had follow this jackpot from $60 Mil to now. Then, suddenly the race stopped, but still were I on track and passed by the jackpot.

I do feel I do, especially considering all I have been through which is too long to even begin to list. My question is WHY do you think you deserve it? Don't take me wrong but I think this is a rather strange question. I don't feel like I deserve it by any means and I probably work harder on lottery systems then anything else right now. Remember there will always be folks better off and worse off then you,most of them worse off. If you've got food on your table and a roof over your head you're doing pretty good compared to most of the world.
