The state lottery is of course a part of the government, better to be careful, they might try to scare you, or just ask you questions and then tell you that the lottery is right and that there is nothing wrong with them and their computer draws and then or tell you to stop talking bad about them and their RNG draws, I guess that if they wanted to maybe they could accuse you of something and take you to court, but at this time due to what happened to them, they are a little vulnerable

See what he wants with a third and preferably fourth party present, and ask to record the meeting. By his response you'll know what they are up to. Make sure there is a record of your meeting, how he knew to contact you, who asked him to approach you, when he was told to approach you, and why.

Apparently the reps weren't affected by the lottery going computerized! Especially now, since their sales growth has slowed down from 18% to 3%. God forbid sales go negative because of an out of lin... [ More ]

How does hubby know it is the lottery? That is why I said the video ID. is important. IF it is a lottery employee, proof positive, file a complaint and or cease and desist. The whole thing is exposed, once this happens you file for damages. Just the fact that they tracked you down physically without your consent, several coordinated actions had to have occured. I asked my hubby what he thought about this man's investigation. He asks What grounds do I have to sue the lottery?

I called the co-worker who was there the day he came. She said he was being really nosey, and then told the boss the lottery would be getting in touch with her.

The tapes are kept for a week and then reused. He came in on Wednesday or Thursday. The co-worker is going to check on that for me in the morning and let the boss know I want to view the tape and make a cop... [ More ]

I think I will do that. I hate to go national wide, but it would be interesting to see what they have to say once someone stood up to them. I am calling my boss right now so she can save the tape. She only keeps a day of taping one week before retaping. Thanks

Here you go: If you have video surveillance of said lottery people, take the recording to a safe deposit box (of course make copies). A simple subpeona for lottery employee, contractors, etc. records to identify who these people are and you have hit the jackpot! There are so many problems (privacy laws that have been broken) with what you say has happened, you can't lose. they were not messing with me at work. I hadn't told them that I emailed the lottery. That was why I was so surprised when she asked me that. I don't see my boss but every once in a while , since I am her fill in on Sundays.

The lottery has no legal authority or jurisdiction to harrass citizens, if you have proof of what you write, get a competent lawyer and file a complaint at the state or federal level immediately. That would be the icing on the cake. How on this earth can you believe they are looking for you? Make sure they aren't messing with you at work.

No , in my email I mentioned I worked for a store in Ardmore, TN. Also mentioned that I was letting the unaware customers know about how the game changed from balls to computer and how the draw break is longer, (mentioning that it gives the state time to see which number was played the least)..

Little threatening to them I suppose, but people have the right to know. If they want the education system to get the money, take it to the county office of their choice.

Keep us informed. If someone from the Tennessee Lottery does something to threaten you for speaking your mind I will not let it off the front page. They need to fix the stupid drawings and stop harassing people. How dare they!

I went to store this morning to get me a Red Bull and my check.

My boss asked me if I had emailed the Tennessee Lottery.

I said yes and asked, Why do you ask?

She said, the lottery man was looking for you. He had come in and asked her questions about the names of her employees. She told them it was none of the lotteries' business what our names were.
