Sorry, didn't mean to put words in your mouth. I just remember a time when I used to be able to upload pics from my computer, such as my documents/videos section. But those pics were uploaded to my computer, so that doesen't qualify as my computer pics I guess. The editor would prompt me to browse as a choice, and I used to click on the picture and insert it into the editor. Now I have to put the url in. I don't even see the browse option anymore, so that's why I thought something was different.... [ More ]

I beleive it was illegal to photocopy currency at one time. When the technology was new, the ability of machines to distinguish real currency from photcopies wasn't very good, so photocopies could be used in many machines. The ability to easily make realistic looking counterfeit currenct is obviously something the government has a lot of interest in. Shortly after the first batch of new and supposedly hard-to-counterfeit bills came out a while back it took only a few weeks or so before some teen... [ More ]

I have a question. When I was growing up I thought there was a law, as strange as it sounds, prohibiting the reproduction of money by photocopying (we used the word mimeograph..remember?)

I suppose as long as you don't put your money in your all-in-one and copy it and then try to use it at the supermarket, nobody will care. LOL Just curious. Was that one of those urban legends

I've not changed anything about images, there is no way (and never has been a way) for someone to see an image on your computer. It has to be uploaded somewhere. How else would someone see it? Would people have access to your computer over the Internet? Again, this is nothing specific to Lottery Post, it's the same everywhere, and Lottery Post uses a more powerful text editor than most forum sites. If you check the Help forum you will see a detailed post about posting images.

If you need to find a place to host your picture, there are some free hosting websites you can use which is better then taking other people's bandwidth. You can upload pictures for free using ImageShack or Photobucket. Both are pretty good hosting sites.

At the moment, I am actually using Photobucket to host my avatar.

I may be wrong on this, but Todd changed the way the editor works by not using the pics stored on your computer because people can't see the picture. The only way now is to either take the risk of the pic being erased or paying for hosting.

There are many pics in my older blogs that don't have the pictures anymore because the host found out and took them away...lol
