i'm still learning about computers so i'll be the first to admit i was thrown for a loop because as soon as i got on i had a PM from someone telling me to check my signature that it was naughty and even that person seemed to know that it might've been an outside problem because i never would post vulgar stuff and of course i knew todd would never do that so it never entered my mind about him either.i thought i might've been hacked or something, lol.but someone told me i might've been using up some other persons bandwitdth with the signature and i honestly didn't know.i do have a lot to learn about computers.

Mike, why not just upload your pics to the members' pages--> https://www.lotterypost.com/members/ ? All Au and Pt members can save their pics, custom avatars, .htm and (i think) .xls files over there.
In neo-conned Amerika, bank robs you. Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms should be the name of a convenience store, not a govnoment agency.

I have a question. When I was growing up I thought there was a law, as strange as it sounds, prohibiting the reproduction of money by photocopying (we used the word mimeograph..remember?)
I suppose as long as you don't put your money in your all-in-one and copy it and then try to use it at the supermarket, nobody will care. LOL Just curious. Was that one of those urban legends?

I remember that! And it was a big no. no, so we had to mimeograph play money instead. Counterfeiting was much easier back then I guess.

I beleive it was illegal to photocopy currency at one time. When the technology was new, the ability of machines to distinguish real currency from photcopies wasn't very good, so photocopies could be used in many machines. The ability to easily make realistic looking counterfeit currenct is obviously something the government has a lot of interest in. Shortly after the first batch of new and supposedly hard-to-counterfeit bills came out a while back it took only a few weeks or so before some teenager with a computer and color printer was able to make bills that treasury agents had trouble with.
I'm not sure about the current status of the law, but a good rule of thumb is that making a copy that isn't readily identifiable as a copy may get you in trouble. Any reproduction that clearly isn't real should be okay, but if also depends on what you do with the reproduction. I don't remember all of the details, or even how long ago it was (roughly 20?), but the government once tried to prosecute an artist who drew realistic, but obviously reproduced, images of currency, because he bartered them for goods and services. IIRC, they only had an image on one side and didn't feel like currency, and he would offer to pay with them, and see how much the other party would offer. There was clearly no intent to defraud anyone, but the government maintained that because he was using the images like money he was counterfeiting. I don't recall ever hearing about the final outcome.

I've not changed anything about images, there is no way (and never has been a way) for someone to see an image on your computer. It has to be uploaded somewhere. How else would someone see it? Would people have access to your computer over the Internet? Again, this is nothing specific to Lottery Post, it's the same everywhere, and Lottery Post uses a more powerful text editor than most forum sites. If you check the Help forum you will see a detailed post about posting images.
Sorry, didn't mean to put words in your mouth. I just remember a time when I used to be able to upload pics from my computer, such as my documents/videos section. But those pics were uploaded to my computer, so that doesen't qualify as my computer pics I guess. The editor would prompt me to browse as a choice, and I used to click on the picture and insert it into the editor. Now I have to put the url in. I don't even see the browse option anymore, so that's why I thought something was different.
