When I hit the numbers or a scratch off for 10,000 or more I'll set aside 1,000 and play about 100 bucks a pop using the LP wheeling system and some of my own #s. With my own money it's one dollar per draw.

I did spend 60 on the EuroMillions when it was 95,000,000 and surprise suprise I didn't win a penny. On the positive side I did have alot of extra toilet paper :D.

I've probably spent maximum 40 dollars on winning jackpots. Usually I spend between 15 and 25 dollars on every draw (which is twice a week).

Not one penny!!!!! I did all QP's, I win more when I use my lotto software. I recently played about ~~~$20.00 an won $350.00 in the mega millions, mega plied. It's funny the less I play;using the software (lotto hat), the more often I win. Although, I have not won the big jackpot, I am happy with the small wins.

Well , I played the fantasy 5 around my birthday last year in June because the pot was up kinda high, and I put 50 dollars on some special numbers that I play all the time no matter what and I got 4 out of 5 and won close to 7 thou, I almost hit, but the number that I didn't have was one number away , I'm not complaining. $10-$15 avg. $20 is about max but I've gone to the thirties long time ago. It adds up if you play both MM PB, I play less on the Mega though unles it gets ridiculous.

Looking at the raffle sales statistics, it looks like millions of people wagered $20 on one number and because the tickets were sold over time, some people bought more $20 tickets. Maybe it was easier for me to justify buying a $20 New Year's raffle ticket because I cashed $30 worth of Christmas gift scratch-offs, but I don't see how knowing other people waged between $40 and $100 would make me feel more comfortable making that bet.

Two times I spent $100 to hit the Superlotto and Mega Millions Jackpot.

There times I traveled to Oregon to purchase Powerballs tickets. Each time the trip cost $230 for gas food, sometimes stayed in hotel. And Powerballs tickets cost me about $50.

I have not been to Oregon for almost 10 months.

This is for a single drawing only, and scratchers don't count. All varieties of normal lotto games count. Only the money out of your pocket counts. If you use a pool for an example, you can only count your contribution to a pool.

Personally I've only throw about 30 bucks at one, but that was just because it was my birthday. I've only played for a few months though, so I'm sure it will change.

Please don't get into an argument about whether this actually increases your chances of winning.... [ More ]
