That's why it's a good idea to play online! I have registed with the English National Lottery site. That way, no chance of losing anything.

I would have to move on fairly quickly if I lost the winning ticket. Thinking about could have been would depress me something chronic.

There are lot more things in life that holds much more importance than money. If I was to lost the winning lottery ticket or someone stole it from me, yes I would feel bad but after a few days I will get over it because winning the lottery is a 50/50 chance either you win or you loose I would just consider it that I lost and maybe try and play to win again. Money is something you can get if you work for it, it isn't like the money you won was something you always had. You seem to have a fixation on women, I suggest professional help, SOON. Women - ANYTHING - is not that powerful as to control a persons' every move, every thought. Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. I don't consider buying a lottery ticket a sacrifice any more than buying a ticket to see a movie, both are for entertainment. I might feel stupid if I lost a lottery ticket that I thought might have been a winner because if I checked it and knew it was a winner I would have put it in a safe place where I could find it when I wanted it.

I don't know...I just don't think of it like that. You do know the saying money don't buy happiness. BUT I always thought they just wern't shoppin in the right place lol.

I take it as money won't save the ones you love from dying in a car accident.... money won't stop terminal cancer from taking the one you love.........it means money can't buy everything...not even life.

It would be hard to deal with at first being so close to have it gone in an instant. Luck can turn on a dime. Sometimes as stupid as it sounds you've got to Roll with the punches . Ok so I lost a ticket I wouldn't feel great about it, but life can hand you much worse disasters. I would have to deal with it like any other dumb mistake I've made..don't make a big deal out of it. Honestly, if I lost a ticket which was worth millions, I can guarantee that I would go into bout of depression. Other then that, I don't know how I would react to losing something like that. But really, I don't lose my tickets. Once they are bought, I put them on my desk where they remain until I check them. If I find out that I have won a large jackpot. I plan on putting in a safe place.

I would get over it. I would have to... That would be just as bad as someone who plays the same pick 4 or cash 5 or megamillions or powerball numbers every drawing and the time that person doesn't play that would have had the pick 4 exact or 5 of 5 in cash 5 or 4 + 1 in megamillions/powerball or better...

I have been playing 34 powerball number for 8 months straight and when it fell like 3 or 4 drawing ago I didn't have it played..

I would be very very depressed about it, but I would go on living.

Even though I have grand schemes for staying anonymous, I would be concerned to lose my ticket and might go claim it right away.

Infact, that in my mind has always been one of the harder lotto decisions.

If you have ever had your wallet lost or stolen, you know it is possible to lose stuff of value without meaning to.

On one hand I am a true believer in if you are suppose to win the lottery, you win. (all the way) But then I think, well, I did win. but lost the ticket. The odds of winning this great amount has it's own set of problems for my brain to untangle. As far as the dilemma you propose....well....... I'd rather wait to cross a bridge when I come to it.....lol

I wouldnt forgive myself but then i wouldnt kill myself either. Ive lost out on making money on share trading a lot less than $100 mill, and am pretty peeved at myself over that. i think if u can learn from it, its not a total loss. and anyhow being the humerous butt of other peoples jokes is always a good use for a life right

I think this is a very good question...And the subject is very sensitive...Lots of us don't think about it, but what will happen if let's say you had the the 100 million or 200 million winning Powerball ticket...And let's say you lost it forever?
