In Virginia the pairs game is played using the Pick3 game.

Considering the sums 6 to 21 from the chart above,

but excluding doubles,

are all non-double pairs still possible? and in which positions, all three ? (front,split,back)

Or is it considerably less than 89 if we use only the 6 to 21 P3 sums? (99 - 10 doubles

Sum 11 16 is different from one another, even though they share 9 single box, and 54 single straight numbers. We are not counting doubles and tripples, as the methods above we are aiming for box. If straight, then 9 x 6 (6-ways) = 54 single straights.

Sum 11 are made up of 2 high number and 1 low = HHL

Sum 16 are made up of 2 low number and 1 high = HLL

I don't understand why we choose 11 or 15 or 20, when I worked it out on paper I ended up with the following:

sum #of possibilities

8 45

9 55

10 63

11 69

12 73

13 75

14 75

15 73

16 69

17 63

18 55

19 45

total 760 (760 of 1000 = 76%)

so my question is about the fact that the equal opposite of 11 would be 16 would it not? In other words there are 69 possibilites for sum 11 and there are 69 possibilities for sum 16.

I'm getting confused, the op refers to the range 11 to 15 due to the filtering for the odd/even parity as well as the hi/low.

Do these parities apply to Virginia consistently enough to reduce the range of plays to the 11 to 15 sum range ? or do the 2 replies above mean that Virginia's sums outside of the 11-15 range tend to be heavier upward of sum 15 compared to lower than sum 11

The 5 highest hitting sums in your state will return (after being hit) within 8 drawings 50 to 60% of the time. A lot of states will return a hit sum within 2 drawings 17-30% of the time. These are not combined drawings. I have not checked those stats.

If you keep track of your sums digits you will notice that the majority of sums that come out every month in your state are between 11 thru 20.

So keeping track of them and play the hot and due sums are a good bet.

Yes, the same sum range also work for doubles, there are less blackouts when including them. However, overall there has been more singles draws than doubles for All States. By having more of singles it allows more chance for Straight hits. That's what I monitor at the moment.

Been tracking All States Pick 3 - Eve for its SUM: 11 - 15. Why this range you may wonder? In Pick 3 for Singles there are 8 numbers in one set of sum after filtering out and keeping the numbers to be within 2 high 1 low (HHL), and 1 high 2 low (HLL), and within these two sets of high and lows there are 2 even 1 odd (EEO), and 1 even 2 odds (EOO). 80% of the results from All States falls into it.
