Thanks RJ. Just a little something I threw together last night. I PM'd Todd to see if he would like to host it here on LP, otherwise I'll decide if my web space will be decent for hosting the downloadable app. The only problem with my web space is that I am re-designing my site (and name) here shortly, since it's based on a half-built Flash application which I no longer develop in.

Hot, cold, neutral, and pattern analysis to start. Its a great program. Only $40 bucks if you want to buy it.

I am new here also. I hope to gain some more skills on numbers analysis. I am working on the Calif Fantasy 5 at the moment.

Alrighty, I'm just about done with an .exe Windows Application for creating 'full wheels'. It also has a 'Calculate Combinations' function that will allow you to calculate odds (or total number of tickets) for any input of Numbers Per Ticket, Max Ball, and Bonus Ball Count. ..Well almost any, it will calculate anything up to (and slightly over) 6 numbers per ticket with 300 balls and 50 bonus balls (1:48,141,142,335,000 by the way), which should be plenty. The application prints all combinations... [ More ]

I am still new to the filtering game and haven't applied that much code (or research) to it yet. ..At this point I simply throw a few filters at my ticket selections based on general stats, but I will defintely be looking into it in more detail in the near future.

Should you ever come up with something that proves great and need a bit of code (not sure if you write software or not), feel free to shoot some ideas my way

stew12

Yes, but that is, because most combos are in those sums, that equals very little filtering power.

That is not how one filters, filter as you would on a pick 3 game more or less, but adapted to jackpot games.

Look at my last post for example.

-----

Filter according to the make-up of the game and the stats of the filter patterns, but not in that way, filter out individual sums and groups of sums for example, according to stats.

I see what you're saying. The tricky part is to find the right combination of filters that reduces yout ticket output, but also allows a high amount of winning combinations through. Finding filters that match all winning draws and also reduce your ticket choices by a significant amount is difficult.

For example, in PB 84.88% of all winners have fit the sum range of 100-200 (292 of 344 draws).

You start out with a simple loop with 4 or 5 other loops nested within it, add a few features to skip or print combinations by sums, gap between numbers or numbers in certain positions and pretty soon you got the start of a complex program.

You'll probably decide it's easier not to print a combination you don't want rather than filter it out later because if you have 300,000+ combinations you'll spend a minute searching the file on disk for one combination to delete and after you've deleted... [ More ]

Stew,

Yeah Well I mean eventually i would get them all, i just feel bad about clogging ur PC for 30 hrs, dude lol... I'll let you decide, if you want to give all of them, thats cool - If you want to just give me all the combos that only begin with 1 out of 56 numbers, thats great too. Which do you feel more comfortable doing

Stew,

If you could, thats great, I hope its not too much work for you. If I could just all the possible combinations that begin with the first number as 1, I think it will be easy for me to do the rest myself, all I will have to do is copy/paste it 56 times and keep changing the first number for all 56 sets of numbers until (eventually) I have all combos that begin with every number.... if you get what I mean. Sorry if that sounds confusing what i'm explaining.

Well, I don't know, I wasn't really gonna try anything specific, maybe a couple things I had in mind. I'm already putting together a numerological order list of all the combos that have been played so far, i'm half way done. I just wanted to look at that one and look at the complete list of all the combos to see if i could come up with something to help you all out.

Would it make... [ More ]

I can print out the combinations for you, but it will take about 30 hours on my PC. The file will also be fairly large. Maybe a little explination on what you are trying to do and we can give you some suggestions on an easier way to accomplish the task

Ion Saliu has a program Combinations.exe on his website. I got a copy a few years ago when it was free. I think he has since required a fee to get copies of his program.

This program generates lotto combinations in STEPS at user's choice;

e.g. lotto-6 combinations skipping 1000 combinations.

The program looks at all the combinations in the game

in lexicographical order.

Welcome to Lottery Post steve33825!

I don't know the answer to your question, but maybe there is some who has more experience with adding lottery data can help you. However like four3me and x1kosmic have mentioned that is a lot of combinations and it would probably take days for you to be able to sort or print or do whatever with the number sets.

First off, hi everyone, I'm steve and i'm new here. Hows it going? :)

I was wondering if there was any place online or perhaps somebody here has a text file or something of all possible mega million number combinations, I'll take the combos for 5 numbers or for 5 numbers and the mega ball, either or. I searched high and low, couldn't find anything. I even tried searching for online combination calculators, the only i found available to me was a trial version of Combinations! and it won't even... [ More ]
