My understanding since 9-11 and the anthrax scare they do not receive letters, letters are taken to an offsite location ... not sure if they're even opened.

Email or phone is the best way to contact your congress persons. Their email should be on their official Senate (senate.gov) and House of Representatives (house.gov) site.

Online lotto pays $900 for a straight in pick 3.

States pay $500

A big reason they do not want us to play online.

I believe you should be able to bet on line all us state lotteries hooked upto each state by web every one would profit and be controlled by each state many of my numbers i play have hit in other states and it would be nice to be able to take a chance but not go overboard especially with power ball and mega games for states that don't have them available

Using 'Spill her' you fill out the lottery tickets online or chose to buy a randomized quick pick online.

'PC-spill' is delivering your systems/wheels over the internet in a computer file created by wheeling/filtering software.

sounds nice...the Norway lottery.

I just visited their site, too bad I could not understand it it's called norsk tipping, and the screen buttons say 'spill her' or you can do a pc-spill.

Good grief, if we in the U.S. cannot have a world class lottery system, we should at least learn from Norway and other countries.

Anyways i don't care much if the USA does not legalize gambling, i care that Europe, England, Russia, Asia, the Middle East, Latin America legalize it..Sorry to say it but the USA acts sometimes as sadistic..

And it makes me mad, because whatever the USA does the rest of the world follow to copy and they are not independent..

well you're not alone, just keep in mind that my idea of what lottery enthusiasts ought to do is write your state and federal representatives, or email them. Even getting one letter or email from someone who does play lotteries is better than none.

There is absolutely no good reason why you should have to spend lots of money and time just to get to a state so you can also enjoy playing lotteries that millions upon hundreds of millions of the rest of us can enjoy and consider it an everyday... [ More ]

I have been using online gambling for years here in Norway. The national lottery company got online delivery systems for all kinds of betting and lotteries.

I mainly use it for the Saturday Lotto 7/34, Viking Lotto 6/48 and KENO. Can be totally recommeded.

You got easy control of how much you spend and how much you win. Money won goes into your account within a few hours.

harmful to U.S families? What about Cigarettes? the lottery can be like cigarettes if HUGE amount of money is giving like 70 million dollars [after taxes] and those people that after they won that much want to accumulate even more money....

You know i honestly wish they stop selling those new video games they talk about on play station 3 and xbox 360 and the others and go back to the old nintendo, because they are so violent...

I'm certainly interested, I am in the research stage right now.

My understanding (anyone correct me as needed) is that years ago, the lawmakers and crazy administrations messed things up and wanted online number games basically forbidden. It scared a lot of companies into shutting down and some big internet sites quit advertising for them. Some of them however, stood up for what they thought was right. I was just reading a post from '06 in the News forum, where U.S. politicians spoke of online betting games as not belonging in U.S. living rooms and being harmful to U.S. families.

I think with the old and nasty administration ways about to (potentially)drastically change, people like you and I have better odds at being heard and understood by the lawmakers who are supposed to work for us.
