			<description><![CDATA[<p>The number of states is meaningless, other than each new state that joins increases the potential player population. The MM states tend to be ones with large populations, so as was pointed out, MM has nearly 30% more potential players. I can&#x27;t imagine what effect payouts for the previous drawing would have, though they certainly offer some indication of how many tickets were bought, and that&#x27;s what it all comes down to. 			<description><![CDATA[<p>I think it has to do with the type of investments each lottery puts their money into between draws. I guess MM has a better return on their investment than PB. PB actually has a FAQ page on their website where they answer this question. Their whole FAQ page s a pretty entertainng read, yet informative.</p>]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>Why? I don&#x27;t get this, The Mega was 85 Million and EST for the next lottery will be 103 million a jump of 18 Million and Played in only 12 States. Now for the powerball, The Powerball was 92 million and the EST will be 105 million a jump of only 13 million. The Powerball is played in 30 States, Washington D.C. and the US Virgin Islands.
