Glad to hear you are hitting 4 of 5 using the DNA 5 system. You'll be hitting the jackpot soon! About the 20 numbers, they only exist in the excel automated sheet, but I have advised to only pick 12 numbers from it since most will have repeats or is a negative number, or over the maximum number of the game. Without getting too far off from this thread's topic, I'll release the version II this week or next week, been working on it piece by piece when I have the time even with lots of projects on... diamondpalace, I would like you to know that I have been using your concept with DNA 5, I already hit 3 times 4 numbers. Every time I hit 4 numbers I hit them the most 5 tickets and the least was 3 tickets. I do not use your excel program I do it by hand. I converted the numbers to letters from the very first thread that you have posted. The only problem I run into is that I use all 3 methods that you have posted and come up with about 20 numbers. In my excel sheets for the jackpot games, from 5 groups condensed to 4 groups making it; A,B,C,D. Taking the total number of balls and divided out evenly to 4, if there are some odds usually goes towards C and D group. Within it with the five groups that are equal to or greather than 3 number groups. ABC, ABD, BCD, ABCD, then track to see how often they come up. Take a look at one of the sheets, it is there. Perhaps it can help you.

In the program that I wrote to pick combinations, I not only used those definitions to come up with combinations but as I mentioned early in that post, I also used sums, ranges and gaps to eliminate combinations along with not accepting combinations that had already came up in earlier drawings.

No. In the thread I worked only with the MegaMillions game using 20 lines. I used the idea with Ohio Classic Lotto(6/49) and saw an improvement with matching 3 and 4 with 10 lines. I used the whole definitions to pick combinations that had similar distributions of numbers.

I tried that with Ohio Rolling Cash5 which has had 1490 drawings so far and I came up with 112 different patterns. Here is a list of the top 21 which covered 50% of the drawings.

I haven't completed it yet but I figured I would document my progress here...

Using North Carolina's Cash 5 Game:

I Split the numbers into 5 sections (A,B,C,D,E)

A = 1-9

B = 10-15

C = 16-23

D = 24-29

E = 30-39

A little over 70% of the time the drawing has two numbers from the same section.

About 24% of the time the drawing has 3 numbers from the same section.

Using this information I would go ahead and eliminate playing a set of numbers that has all 5 sections.
