With jackpot games, a system doesn't has to be perfect but just work once if the jackpot is large enough.

I divided the numbers in the 376 Ohio Classic Lotto drawings into six groups as you suggested and found there were 202 different distribution patterns of the six groups. Only six times did I find a combination with a number for each of the six groups.

I didn't find any distinctive distribution patterns that would give me an edge in picking winning combinations.

Keep posting thos... [ More ]

The 6th position occurances in a 6/54 game are not unusual. In the 25,857,165 total possibilities, 40s are the highest number in 10,721,393 combinations, 50s are the highest number in 11,843,349 combinations.

As you stated, though, given the total number of possibilities, 327 drawings are not enough to draw any statistical conclusions.

gl

j

I know most people divide into decades as you do but the way most lotteries are it's not possible for even distribution due to the single digits never having a 00. with the way I've divided the groups you;l notice each group has an equal number of balls in them. And also in a 6/49 ball #1 only has one position it can be played in as well as 49. The only lottery I can recall having even distribution was when Powerball was a 5/55 game, but I'm sure there are others.

I didn't say my method was perfect but if you look you'll notice that more times than not that the drawings are drawn within this method with leaving out 1 or 2 of these groups with usually 3 or more ball positions matching it's own group.

I have always tracked by decades, ie; 1-9;10-19;20-29, etc. In the Lotto Texas game there are 54 numbers in the game. So there are 5 numbers in the 50's decade. However, the 50's have played 141 times in the 6th position as opposed to the 40's playing 135 in the 6th position. This is over 327 drawings, so there is not that much difference in the big picture. I still think this is useful info, but overall, I only use this info to try to cut the odds some, because it still takes luck more than any... [ More ]

How is that working for your local Ohio Classic Lotto which is a 649 game? No one has won the jackpot in eight months and now its amount is a record high after every drawing.

As you all may notice that most Jackpot games use an uneven balls drawn to balls to draw from ratio. Ex: in a 6/49 the ratio is 8.1666666666666666666666666666667. I figured to make a 6/49 as an even distrubution of 9 per group you can list the groups as

01-09|09-17|17-25|25-33|33-41|41-49. But most lottery draws are not perfect so if you compare this to your local 6/49 draw you'll notice that in most draws one or two groups'll be out, but on the plus side of it usually at least half of the di... [ More ]
