@jayemmar,

That would be great if we know for sure 3 numbers, then we can wheel the rest and hit 2nd prize. Unfortunately, this method only eliminate 30 previous sums, yet all numbers are still counted for. I'm currently testing on eliminating 10 sure shot numbers that wont come up, then follow to increase that slowly.

Hi Diamondpalace:

This is a very interesting statistic. The 30 sum elimination filter is easy to implement on Lotwin as a user defined filter. It would be interesting to see how this plays out when applying the filter and then doing a Reduction for getting 3 or 4 numbers correct.

jayemmar

I've back tracked and saw that within 30 draws is a safe elimination range, more then that will not work every draw, and lesser only eliminated few.

foreverbad64,

Yes, it works for all jackpot games. Recommend 30 previous draws and SUM for Mega and Powerball. While 20 draws and SUM for smaller jackpot games like the Pick 5.

Some people are having errors too. I'll fix it when I have some time. But for now, I want to introduce the idea so people can get started on it, with or without my sheet.

Will upload the new version soon...

Correction on the total combination eliminated. It's not 752,817 (it is for the 5 white balls), but the total combination with Mega Ball is 34,629,582!!!!! That's cutting it down from the total 175,711,536 leaving us with 141,081,954 to choose from. Again, not much however it is quite significant! Just some clarification.

Thank for the kind wordsDawn32 PERDUE!

@play4keeps: Yes I use this method for 2-3 draws back for Pick 3, and 3-5 draws back for Pick 4.

@joker17: This 30 Sum works best for Powerball and Mega Millions, for other smaller jackpot games it's safe to go back 20 Sum draws. The smaller games have smaller range so we cannot go more than 20 or we'll be missing out on the jackpot. Yes, I'll create one for FL Fantasy 5.

That's a great idea! Thanks DiamondPalace.

I was wondering if you thought this would work for the p3 and p4 games...only looking at fewer draws? Like maybe 10 draws back

The lottery game Mega Millions has substantial odds, 1 in175,711,536! There are many ways to eliminate numbers to better theodds.
