Thanks Calabs for the observation. I have been working with vtraks in MI for a while now. In the pick four the most popular vtrak for the midday is v5421, it has fallen approx. 54 times in the last 3 years. That is at least once a month on average. Currently, it has been missing for more than 30 days. The two vtraks that have not fallen straight for this one are v1254, v5412 (again in the last three years). I am not sure if this will help someone, but a straight is worth the try. The other vtrak... [ More ]

Another way to look at the strings is longest out, and tracking trends for the vtrac string. For example, v2224 has been missing in New Jersey since July 13. Now that 5 months missing. Looking over the past 5 years history, that is the max skip for this vtrac. So you can expect to see this vtrac soon. To narrow down strings maybe use HOT/COLD.

HOT: v4222

COLD: v2224

See what I mean about finding the missing vtrac... I mentioned in my original post that vtrac 3335 was missing since Jan 5th!!! Had that string been played, you would have gotten a str8.

Tue, Dec 15, 2009 New Jersey Pick 4 Midday 2-2-2-9 v3335

Hi moneyquest. I believe there are some software programs that deal with vtrac conversion, but I don't know the details of it. Perhaps someone else could shed some light on this. If you use Excel, you can generate your own list. I know someone generated a spreadsheet that coverted the draw number into vtrac. It should be relatively straightforward if you are well versed in Excel. You're right, there are quite a few numbers (10000 str8s!), so breaking down into catagories in some way can help nar... [ More ]

I should study this because I always get at least 2 numbers out of the Pick-4. Yesterday I play 1863 and and 6327 comb. and in the Midday I played 7920 and 6052 came in Ohio. If I could steady this a little more, I might hit something big, I have to learn how to use the System that you gave here. Thanks for sharing. Happy Holidays

Most of us know what vtracs are, and most have used them to work out plays for P3 and P4. I'm trying to work out a way to narrow down vtrac strings and possibly get a str8 out of the deal. :) Keep in mind that each vtrac string permutation has 16 str8 numbers.

First let's take a look at the catagories of vtracs, and how many numbers are in each catagory.

Quads

This one is pretty easy. This catagory has the least amount of str8s in it. Of the 5 quad vtracs, there are 16 numbers in each,... [ More ]
