So, I had my account blocked for my intention to post a link with an image but I read the rules and now I konow what the fact works.

Until now, you can do this:

in a sheet put in cols A-F the draws history of game

in cols J-O put the variants which you want to play.

Open a macro and put the following code:

Sub Macro1()

' Macro1 Macro

' Macro recorded 2/6/2010 by -/-

'

' Keyboard Shortcut: Ctrl+m

'

Dim a(6) As Integer

Range(Cells(2, 17),... [ More ]

If you are checking PowerBall or MegaMillions you can check five lines at a time at USAMega and you can check them with the total history of either game.

It's very easy to obtain this verify in Excel. I have this program which compare N variants with a database of game. But here I can't post any file.

Do you check your variants only with the last draw, or with all the past draws for the past results

Almost any good commercial lottery software will do what you want and best of all most offer a free trial period before you buy. LottoPro will do that.

If you're considering having someone code such a program for you, you might want to consider adding a few extra features like comparing a file with a group of numbers, payout amounts, having dates in all the files so you can tell how far back a match or hit happened and etc. Once someone starting coding a program, there's no end to the list of... I want to check my selected numbers against past draws.

You can do this on some state's websites but you have to do each line of numbers one by one.

So just a program with 2 'databases' (text files). One with my selected numbers and one with past draws, and the program would just compare the two files and look for matches or close matches and output the matching line and the number of matching lines and 2 of X or 4 of X etc....
