I am not from Georgia; however, my parents live in the tri-state region (GA, AL, and TN). I've played the $10 jumbos a few times. I don't get to Georgia often enough to play as much as I would like... though I have won almost every time I have played the $10 jumbos. I have won more on those than any other ticket. Second to the $10 jumbos would be the $5 Giant Jumbo Bucks. It has been a while since I played the GA $5 jumbo; however, I remember one time I bought 5 of those $5 tickets and ended up... [ More ]

Those are horrible odds for a $10 ticket. If I were you (since you are in GA) I would play the $10 Jumbo Jumbo Bucks. The overall odds are roughly 1:2.5. That would be your best option. Usually the high $$ tickets payout A LOT better than the lower priced tickets. I would rather go big or go home. I would take a win of $20 over a free $2 ticket any day.

I prefer to budget my $$.....so I think about it over several rounds of playing, not just that one time.

I combine the odds with the number of unclaimed prizes. So, without knowing the actual number of unclaimed prizes above, I can't give you an answer.

But, in theory, I like to play more and take the winnings to move up to the NEXT ticket price and play the ones with the best odds.

So, with a budget of $10, I would start at the $1.00 or $2.00 games, pick the game at that price point wi... [ More ]

Say you have $10. Would you rather spend it on 2 $5 tickets with the odds 1:3.4 , 5 $2 tickets with the odds 1:4.21 or 10 $1 tickets with the odds at 4.69 and there are more unclaimed top prizes for the $5 tickets.

*Edit: I've also already bought 4 of those $5 tickets today and won on two tickets for a total of $25. Is it possibly a hot stack?

How do you find out the minimum guranteed prize values in a pack?

Thanks for your help
