I purchased her books, I would have bought the software but it's not compatible with Macs. A lot of my work comes from updating my charts and looking for patterns then deciding which numbers to wheel, transferring the numbers into combinations and then filling out the cards. I generally play 40-80 combinations so it takes a little while to fill out the cards, not playing every night but probably 5 nights a week.

I'm spending 1-3 hours a day on lottery and I just keep thinking there is something I'm not seeing or possibly overlooking. Then I go to work and wait on idiots from the shallow end of the gene pool and I like the time I spend working numbers and charts a whole lot better! I know my subconscious continues to work problems, and sometimes (like not being able to remember someones name until you STOP trying to remember it) I get better results from actively NOT thinking about lottery.

For me I noticed that it Is based on where im playing. I have played in 5 different states, NY,CT,VA, SC, NC. Now only started playing seriously here and to be honest with you here in NC its by far the hardest to pin down for me. You can easily get caught up in what they are going to do as opposed to what you have to do to get a hit ! I would play a random set of numbers in NY CT AND WOULD HIT ! I was not using any kind of hardcore systems at all but just common rules when it came to the PICK 3.... [ More ]

I frequently find myself overloaded. You have to develop a good rapport with your bartender, that's job one.

Truth be told though, I Clog much better when I'm loaded. Most people around here will dispute that but they're all nuts. When I'm loaded and commence to Cloggin, I'm like a blur on the dadgum dance floor. That's what I figger anyway cuz everything I look at is a blur, so I must me movin' really fast.

good point, actually (and thats just my opinion) lottery game construction is purely based on probability, it is in their best interest to have randomizer statistically tested, it would be interesting to find when and how such tests are performed though:)

Most of my ideas come from asking what would I do if I was running the lottery as with the casinos

they must always be on the lookout. I wish I had their data and knew what they know. Few people

not a problem:) we are all building castles on the sand. one thing i was thinking of, and you are very good at logic and statistics (can tell) you can attempt to lift the problem and apply towards anything that could offer even a smallest degree of bias (taking out casinos unfortunately as bias is shifted in the direction of the house:)

I see.. I see where you coming from, the overload is coming from doubt in that deep inside you know how improbable modeling of lottery solution by pattern matching is, and so your subconscious is making decision when is time, it does not help that one contemplates to spend game money by buying something for the house etc instead, so totally with you, so thats opposite from compulsion

It looks to me you enjoy puzzle solving and programming, which is great, lottery is not a puzzle to be solved... [ More ]

If I won right now I don't think it would matter. I play on paper most of the time anyway, I purchased

tickets maybe 2 or 3 times in last 2 or 3 months and won a little at that. I just can't seem to focus

on anything where I have to make a choice. I love crunching the nums and have been getting some

Any way can win and any way can lose. My advice is to find ONE WAY to play and just stick to it. There will never be a way NOT TO LOSE in the lottery...even in the smaller games. You can increase consistency (efficiency) but, in the event of a loss, it will cost you. In the end, it's simply a matter of preference. Lose smaller amounts of money over a longer period of time, or, a larger amount every now and then.

There are only (2) options available when one really understands numbers.

I love the old TZ shows and that was a good one. For me I think I was born with this problem, any thing that I can't

That's bound to happen once in a while especially if you're playing those daily games. You update your data and you only have a few hours before the next drawing. I try to stick with the jackpot games, that way I have 3-4 days to calculate my next move. Once in a while Ohio RC5(a daily pick5 game) gets a $300K+ jackpot and trying update my data and during my workout can get hectic so I'll just skip playing and hope the jackpot keep rolling until I'm ready to play.

This happens to me all the time. Making decisions require discipline. I use past results as indications on any decision I make, because that is the most logical reasoning. Even with all of the advanced computer programs, data mining, sorted data and automatic back-testing, you have to make the tough call. Oh yes, lottery overload. Good name for it! Well, this can happen with almost anything but whatever your passion is you can tend to become obscessed with it.......in spurts. Put away your calculations for awhile......best advice. Then when you come back to it you will see things with fresh eyes and things will become more clear. RL you do need to rest your mind as you are overflowing it with information that is not doing you any good, thinking of statistics and doing mathematical calculation brings forth the thought of is this really possible especially if the odds of winning is this to that, if you look at the major jackpot winnersand and some winners of amounts lets say from 20,000 and over, none of them have said in their interview that they did calculations of this or that, a lot of them believed they would win and
