Prefer to use my gold colored pipe knife to scratch tickets call numbers. Then use a pen to circle the bingo numbers. For games that are not like bingo;just use the pipe knife. Still faster than any coins that have been used in the past.

Saves a little time and not as tiring as scratching.

The other day a clerk gave me an official CA Lottery keyring scratcher tool.

Pretty cool, scratches very well I must say, and comfortable too. But I still stick with my dollar coin because I usually scrape the whole card clean and that can do a quicker job. The official plastic tool is great for small spot scratching, but I'd rather have the larger radius to scrape off more with each swipe. Any others have this kind of tool

Thanks for the tip, I didn't even think of using the Dollar coin, I'll try that

I currently rotate between 3 lucky quarters that I have, one problem is that they can get caught up in the other loose change so if I get some lucky wins with a dollar coin I would stick with it and make that my primary coin. The quarters I have all won decent amounts. It started with a 50.00 win on ticket 86 and I noticed the coin was 1986 that became my first lucky coin. It continues to win. But if I get a few l... [ More ]

Just curious what others like to use to scratch off your cards, if anything.

Do you like any particular lucky penny, nickel, quarter, dollar, or other object or scraper to scratch off the cards?

These little scratcher games are very addictive, so I like to spend as little time as possible in the act of actually scratching. I like to use a Sac Golden Dollar, since it is pretty big and takes off large swaths of junk at a time, and also is smooth edge instead of reeded edge, so it scrapes off... [ More ]
