How do you get a spreadsheet to show something that can't be seen any other way with a computer when the spreadsheet is produced by a computer?

I've identified 145 number distribution patterns in the last 617 MegaMillions drawings since its last matrix change and found half of the drawings fall within 36 of them. And patterns can help you see tendencies to pick from, and tendencies to avoid.

Each state have a different payout scheme for their pick5 and pick6 games. Ohio 5of6 pays $1500 to everyone with a 5of6 and all their other lower tiers prizes are fixed amounts too. Their pick5 game top prizes starts at $100K and rolls to someone match 5 and all winners share the top prize, all others prizes are fixed amounts.

The prize for 5 out 6 numbers in CT is 2000*

If 1 person hits you could get $15000

if 20 people hit you get $600

Imagine after all the years of playing you finally hit 5 numbers only to get $600

Thats why if you play the same ticket week after week but 2-3 tickets with same numbers.

Tha depends on what your goal is? If you are trying to retire early, then yes, your statement would hold true. But if you can be happy with the chance to win anywhere from $50 to several thousand dollars a day, P3 may be for you. And they use and mix and match different ball machines and ballsets so you cannot spot a tendency - I WOULD TO.

I don't like it when someone tries to say I am 'wrong', when I clearly say 'nothing is a sure thing'.

There are tendencies, and they do hit, but as I always say, those tendencies may only get you one or two numbers.

RL - statistical analysis is very important for one thing: determining what will NOT happen in the next game.

Would you play all the same numbers that just hit over again in the very next game?

If the two numbers that have gone the longest without hitting just hit, would you in turn play the NEXT TWO numbers that have gone the longest without hitting?

Let's say numbers 2-4-6-33-47 hit, would you play 2-4-6 again? EVER?

There are TENDENCIES in the choices, the problem is, once you have narrowed those down, you STILL need luck to hit it.

For example, there are 5 WB's that hit, I narrow each one of those down to a pool of numbers, usually four each, but even at that, you still need a lot of luck to get each one right.

I agree about referring to lottery programs as tools rather than systems. It seems as systems, players expect them to be lottery tools and intelligence all rolled in to one package and when they don't pick winners say they don't work. Computer programs always follow instructions, they aren't intelligent, that's why there are programmers.

Any system should give many oppurtunities to reduce the number of numbers to play.

Here is an example:

Pick 3: Starting with 220 boxed numbers.

The first selection should be No Carryover, CarryOver, Double CarryOver, Triple CarryOver.

The second selection be to include Single or Double numbers.

Getting these 2 critera correct gives you a good starting list of numbers.

Usally between 20 to 60 numbers

Tracking the sum will narrow this list down further.

RL, I like what you said.

I too, have figured out not to play numbers, but to play positions, ie if there is a single number that has not hit in X games, you play it, not matter what that number is, and so on.

But it is up to you to figure out when 'X' is, and also figuring out what numbers fall into the pots called V, W, Y and Z.

And never fall in love with a number, that will kill you. Like the RB 28 some are in love with. It may hit, it may hit tonight, nobody knows.

I am absolutely 100% convinced you can have a system thet will get you 2, maybe 3 numbers once every couple of weeks, because I do that often.

But 3x5 isn't good enough.

The best you can do is develop your 'star' numbers - the 2 or 3 you 'know' will hit, and then you have to get lucky with the other 3 or 2 and have them in a pool you devise, and pray that luck is shining on you.

True, although I was thinking of filtering as if it was a 3/38 and keying the two other numbers. I don't know whether you'd call that a wheel..... I guess it's not.

The thing is I don't know it it'd work because I only picked my key numbers. I'm saying chances were I would have gotten something considered the wheel I was going to use uses 10 additional numbers. I guess I could have gotten them all the numbers wrong though.

I need some filtering software so I can take a look at this. Last time I was thinking of playing my key wheel, I hesitated and got my 2 key numbers right and didn't play. Probably would have hit at least 1 4 of 5 that night.

If you're using a wheeling system, you don't need filtering software to know if it would have worked. Just plug in your numbers and compare its combinations with the drawing results.

As far as number selection goes you're right.

The only legitimate system is one that raises your odds when something happens, like a key number wheel, with filters or something.

So like 2 key numbers, and the filter says out of the remaining 3 they have to have 3 odds. Something like that can drasically pretty much give you a JP win, if you get your key numbers and conditions right, which makes it just as much of a gamble.

Apparently from some of these responses there are players who only think they have a system when actually they have a fancy way to pick combinations randomly which is called a QP when done by a lottery terminal. Random doesn't change with time getting better or worst, it just stays random.

Trust me I track pretty much all of them and have even created my own way of tracking but numbers fluctuate and are forever changing. The problem is there are always too many 'due' or 'overdue' numbers to be able to discern 5 - or even 10 or 15 numbers.

Out of 59 numbers there are usually 20 that are 'due' - and you can bet only 2, maybe 3 of those will hit, which leaves 39 others to choose from.

Which ever system you chose to use should allow you to back test the current draw to see where you went wrong in the previous draw.

The way to success with any system is patterns that happen ever couple of draws and tracking and taking advantage of them.

Better yet is the system tracks these patterns and alerts you when they are due or over due.

I don't know if its getting better but edges of my workout formula sheets are worn and darkening from use..

That tells me:

If it ain't broke, don't fix it... which means if a system or method works well there is no reason to change it

Lately, my 'system' dictates a small pool of numbers, and I have noticed that a lot of the numbers I come up with today are the numbers that hit 3-4 draws ago - and I come up with these numbers NOT LOOKING AT what hit 3-4 draws ago until AFTER I have come up with my pool.

Somehow I need to get it advanced, I have missed on all five WB's hitting 4 or 5 times by a week or two.

I keep a daily record of my picks, as well as a daily set of randomly picked numbers. I compare my actual system wins vs the random #'s and as long as the system picks outperform the random picks over the long haul, I know I and my system are doing well.

The play/hit ratio tells the story. Does it take you 30 numbers to hit? Or 1 number to hit?

I backtest all of my systems. I think I've only had 1 that has worked in the past and present. I see the lottery as a stock market lol. There was one week where I hit 5 days out of 7 in states that I played, and the next week only hit twice. You just need to know when your system is heating up, and quit playing as soon as it starts cooling down
