but remember if you do win half is YOURS to do what you want to do also.

Money will always bring out the true person that your with.

So if my wife wants to divorce to get half then so be it, I look at it as a great investment for your freedom..

Fully agree with the pre-nup idea though the number of times you read about them being contested after a change in fortune. Then again not having a marriage certificate doesn't seem to matter either. I'm sure we've read about former boy/girl friends coming out of the woodwork.

I would place all my money into an offshore trust, where noone could touch. Not even the wife. Indeed, why should she know that I am rich?

Of course I would travel around the world and would have access to things I need, but that does not mean that I should forget how to be a regular guy. Indeed, it would be fun to play the average Joe with a Platinum card

I have been married for 10 years...like most marriages some days its happily, other days--not so much...

I sometimes worry when we win the lottery my husband will leave me. We married young(me 20, him 23), were each others' first EVERYTHING--sometimes I worry that he would want to go sow his wild oats once he has money....

If I was single I would probably get married.

Sometimes everything is fine then out of the blue they commence to naggin about little things like you havin a lot of wimmin friends and stayin out all night teachin em to dance and stuff and the next thing you know you're in court losing another house.

I got no toleration fer the naggin.

Some wimmins get real particular about certain things after you marry em.

Some of em just don't know when they already done hit the dadgum jackpot.

My belov d and I have an agreement. If we win the lottery, I will retain sole control of disbursement of funds because I have bettter financial sense and a harder heart to turn away leeches. Our unified PUBLIC front will be if our friends or someone from his family asks him for undue favor, he will tell them they have to approach me and I will say NO. If someone from my family approaches me with the same request, I will tell them to ask him, and he will then say NO.

For me, I don't see a huge interest in marriage and isn't something I want anyways, so I would probably say no. But it wouldn't be because I'd be scared of them using me simply for my money, but rather because that's my marriage plan as of now.

Chances are you can tell if someone want to be with you just because you won a lot of money. If no one wanted to be with you before you won the money and winning the money didn't change you, then you shouldn't have to be told what's attracting them now.
