In Pick-5 playing past combinations is a good idea...

That's something I've always thought just from casual observation but didn't know for certain to be true.

But I'm thankful someone who has studied it like you have can validate that for me.

I learn a lot from you and others here who are nice enough to share your knowledge with everybody and I just wanted to thank you for that.

Consider we would have been playing the Ohio Rolling Cash 5 with a wheel that is expected to hit a two number match 9 out of 10 tries and instead of the expected 45 wins we would have had 77 wins plus 9 three number wins, that's much better then expected.

The idea was to build around the combinations he was already playing so as not to add the total cost of the wheel to his playing expense.

Why should lotteries care about frustrated losers? They were created to make money for the states and people who don't want to gamble and chance losing their money shouldn't play. They know there are lots of losers because that's the way the games are designed.

They do not care.

They don't care to hear how you're frustrated with winning only $2 and shelling out $10 or more.

The general attitude at lotter headquarters, concerning scratch offs anyway, in PA is that as long as

there are winners, their games are winners. The winner does not have to be you...as long as they have

winners to boast about they can continue with the illusion the games are worth playing.

You are very lucky to have made so many friends while playing the lotteries in KY, I don't know this Patels but it sounds likes he/she has gone the extra mile to make your experience of playing lottery enjoyable.

tiggs is happy with the Ky lottery here in Ky..He has made many friends with the clerks at each store he buys at..All the Patels are nice to tiggs..Sometimes tiggs comes up short when he get's paid off but it's worth it just to have a Patel wait on him..

Type your combinations onto the grid,......

You should mention that if your combinations are in a text file, you can just open the text file with CoverMaster and save yourself a lot of typing.

I was able to load all 2325 combinations of Ohio Rolling Cash5 that way and check to see they covered combinations of threes 100%. I received my Master's degree from the University of Georgia. The day after I graduated and vacated the state, they introduced Georgia Five. I have major issues with the payouts for that game. For example, if you match the first three numbers or the last three numbers, you get $20. Do that in the 3-ball and you get $500. Match the first four or last four numbers and you get $225. I checked those 15 lines with the last 50 drawings of Ohio Rolling Cash5 and found they would have won $167 at a cost of $750.

TOTAL MATCHES

MATCH 0 = 367

MATCH 1 = 297

MATCH 2 = 77 $ 77

MATCH 3 = 9 $ 90

MATCH 4 = 0

MATCH 5 = 0 0 JP

I like your idea of using past combinations as part of a wheel and allowing CoverMaster to complete coverage at 90%.

I e-mailed the Illinois lottery about the new monitors that show winners names, photos, and amounts won on what kind of ticket (includes scratchers) as being a real bad move.

Every reprobate that goes into a liquor store will know who won what in their town.

Brilliant.

All games regardless of their odds of winning pay back 50% of sales in prizes so while some games have better odds for winning their top prize, their top prizes are smaller. If you look on the prediction board for the top life time winners percentages, they are similar for jackpot and pick3 game players. There are no real easy wins in any of the lottery games.

Play smaller games that has better odds. Save the million dollar games for later when you have won some from smaller ones. Or when the jackpot is at all time high. Do your fishing at smaller pond that has more little fish than at an ocean for one huge fish.

You should try lottery subscriptions. I could not be bothered buying and checking lottery tickets, and dealing with grumpy store clerks; that is why I only play lotteries by subscription. What would you expect them to do about you being unhappy about not winning? Would you have them get rid of the jackpot category and make it easier to win one of the lower tier prizes? Would you even play if there wasn't a jackpot to be won

I've lost count the number of times I've had near misses and could've had the the (big for me) $7-10 winners

not to mention the freebies playing both the MM and or PB .......

but as it has been said you got to be in it to win it and inspite of the money tossed into the crapper ..... no one is forcing us to play

yea, the lottery karma, or maybe its called fate,is why qp is better.i play a fixed set of numbers on jersey cash 5 and now i'm afraid to miss a day,been playin that set over 10 yrs.although i have got 3 of 5 abt. 15 times and got 4 of 5 abt. a year ago. i feel like i'm stuck w/ these numbers,its like being an addict.and as soon as i don,t play it will hit.so after i hit on these 5 i will play qp only.

Shake things up, Dollar. Do something different. Add a Quick Pick or some new Birthday numbers to your regular numbers. Get 50 lines from the LP Quick Pick machine and go down the list using your intuition until one line jumps out at you, use your intuition when looking at car tags, serial numbers, anything. Sometimes something will jump out at you. Just an extra line is sometimes all it takes to shake things up when you're in a rut.

Just want a opinion if any one @ LP has contacted their state lottery to let them know how unhappy they way they are running the state lottery--I certainly have and surprise I've receive a letter or two. Both my dad and I are at a crossroads to decide to keep on playing because we know we can't and won't win all the time but yet we don't want to keep losing all the time as well, especially by one friggin digit!!
