I'd say MAYBE 3% are, but not 33%, and those 3% have won some sort of 'jackpot'.

Unless you hit and run ( a sizeable amount ) you aint gonna be making money ...

There is no way to even guarantee a daily profit of $5 with the lottery, the house edge is so strong

I've been playing off and on for about 25 years, but it wasn't until February when I decided to try and come up with some sort of system to at least improve my odds. Its surely a law of averages.

Hello all, I'm a newbie here at Lottery Post and just started reading the forums. I know many may say yeah, yeah yeah, but I AM ahead with my state lottery. I play the daily numbers pick 4 mostly, and some pick 3 for the improved odds. Back in February I started studying the past years numbers, and did so for a few days. Trouble is this with most players. They play everyday, various numbers. Best bets are sticking with a system, figure out ONE number a week or so, until that one number hits, don't spread out too much, I pick three and follow it. Sometimes I get ''insight'' to a number and play it heavy. But I always, always do my homework and keep an eye on the ''runs'' to increase my bets or lower it just to cover my loses.

other then people who play daily 3 or daily 4 for $.50 and hit for $500 a few times your not going to get more than 1% who come out ahead. just like slot machines...they advertise that the payouts are 96% cash back, but only fools fall for that statistic. if you take 1000 people who spend money on slots, and 2 people hit nice size jackpots, they can just average the winnings with the people playing and say its 96% pay back when in reality, its 2 people who made a ton of cash and 998 who lost cas... Tiggs is right. Did You Know to make a profit in Powerball, you would have matched 4+1 or better. I doubt their is many people with $100(4+0) in their pockets that think they beat the game. I can't see how they could justify the new $2 prize tag besides see the jackpot grow huge and someone not from you state. You have to struck by lightning to win big or make a profit. I don't know if you guys are making lightnings

yea, its about the dream.also you bought the right to talk about it,however slim the chances.i have known more than one person that talks about winning then jp,then when i ask how many tickets they bought,they would say none, the lottery is for suckers, then i say if you don't have any tickets then just shut up about winning it,i have one ticket and one chance you have zero tickets and zero chances.

I don't really keep track of what I spend on the pick 3. But I do on what I win. I saved all my losing tickets for the year awhile back, out of curiosity to see what I spent. So based on that, in the 6 years I've been playing I would have to say I'm ahead. But I want to do a lot better. And I will.

assuming you are talking about 5-ball games and lotto, i've won a tier 2 lottery prize (around 2200 dollars) after 3 months of playing, yes, but by never winning anymore tier 2 or major prizes not really :( Still at around 900 profit from the lottery though after taxes xD and this is just sparingly play, not playing every single drawing (i.e. only playing when the jackpot is high

Please only take lottery into account and not other type of gambling. Making money means that in the entire span you have been playing lottery, you got more money from the lottery than the money you have spent on the lottery.
