Trouble is this with most players. They play everyday, various numbers. Best bets are sticking with a system, figure out ONE number a week or so, until that one number hits, don't spread out too much, I pick three and follow it. Sometimes I get ''insight'' to a number and play it heavy. But I always, always do my homework and keep an eye on the ''runs'' to increase my bets or lower it just to cover my loses.

Take a chance and play it straight, box it to cover your bet. Its all a gamble right?

Hello all, I'm a newbie here at "Lottery Post" and just started reading the forums. I know many may say yeah, yeah yeah, but I AM ahead with my state lottery. I play the daily numbers pick 4 mostly, and some pick 3 for the improved odds. Back in February I started studying the past years numbers, and did so for a few days. I started playing 20 (.50) straight/box combos on Feb 12, 2011 and on Feb 14th hit for 2,604.00 (and yes I have a copy of ticket and lottery check). I played for another 2 weeks or so with no further hits and had to go out of state to help a friend. I recently returned and I am now hitting the stats again. I came to this website because I needed another wheeling system, and on Saturday the 16th I wheeled (3) 4 digit combos that I had trended, and WOULD HAVE hit for 2,500.00 again. Numbers were 6845, 2373 and 4154, wheeled would have been 81 draws for $ 40.50, boy I wish I wasn't just testing my studies. The R.I dialy number was 4883. My point is, playing the pick 4 or 3 is by far the best bet odds wise. I do play a couple of dollars on Powerball now and then, but don't have the time to research the numbers, plus I think the odds because of the large amount available numbers is nearly impossible. As far as the original question ..... after taxes, I'm still up over 1,800.00 but it's just me and my 6 year old adopted grandson here, and I'm not giving it back (I hope). I've been playing off and on for about 25 years, but it wasn't until February when I decided to try and come up with some sort of system to at least improve my odds. Its surely a law of averages.

i think the point of the orig. question was,are you on the profit side overall ? i've been playing since 72 and i know i'm not.

Unless you hit and run ( a sizeable amount ) you aint gonna be making money ...

There is no way to even guarantee a daily profit of $5 with the lottery, the house edge is so strong

2018 Biggest Win: $500 (multiple times but who cares about $500 right?)

All time Biggest Win: $4K ($5 Green & Gold)
