there is another poster, i think has something like 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,0, on their sig.line,reminded me of something i read in a book abt. sign painting .the sign said something like the alphabet contains all knowledge, the only thing left to do is arrange the the letters properly LOL . funny thing here (coinicidence not HA-HA. thanks les nessman ) the guy that wrote the book is from MLPS. i think, mentions hennepin co. many times . now to arrange the nos. ha-ha go for it les.

Ha, Florida isn't much better. I bought ten, dollar scratchers, one won a dollar and the only other winner won four prizes: $1.00, $4.00, $4.00, $1.00 for a total of $11.00 a profit of a dollar unless I count gas as the trip wasn't just for scratch tickets, can't live by beer and lotto tickets alone.

Anyway, don't buy a PA scratch ticket until you visit . . .

Good for you doing well with CA Daily 3! I suck at it...

Might be nice if they had other betting options like some other states like front pair or back pair, etc. The pari-mutuel thing we have, that can be a blessing or a curse? Was good for PA players today that they have fixed payout amounts instead of pari-mutuel, but bad for PA lotto commission, they must have lost millions on this draw.(and will they take it out elsewhere with poorer scratch cards in the future?)

You didn't ruffle my feathers!! I do well with Pick 3 here in California. I have never played scratchers. To me, playing scratchers is like playing the slot machines in a casino. I am saddened when I see these people sitting at a machine for hours on end feeding in their quarters. Yes they get little payouts, but the Jackpot almost never. Like you say, to each his own.

With scratchers, you have many more intermediate and smaller amounts to win besides the top prize. Overall odds are typically 1:4, and your percent return over time is around 60% or more.

With Daily 3, you only win straight or box, with the best odds 1:167, and your percent return over time is only around 50%.

I got me one! And yes, it is a tiny bit of satisfaction even though the lottery will still get you in the long run unless you hit a jackpot.

Just be realistic about the odds facing you. Look at any lotto game for the odds on the top prize, and figure that is how much you might have to spend until you get a jackpot, maybe twice

I had just mentioned this last night about this supposed promo. Oddly it will most likely happen today or tomorrow.

When I checked the website it makes NO Date certain time frame for when it can happen so we have between now and eternity based on this evasive promo.

weird= unusual, not common. i only play maybe 3 set of numbers per draw so i have way less than 2% of a hit. i dont expect to hit very often but seeing that repeats in day and night with all even or odd numbers just seem a little funky. Coincidence that the pa lottery is promoting a Surprise second draw ANYTIME now and also the very very low payouts. hmm makes me wonder. maybe all the stars are lined up for pa lottery to profit. maybe they will fix the budget with it, NOT.

ok, I just need to vent a little. I understand lotteries are there to make a profit (business).

Lately, here in PA, they have been promoting the SURPRIZE second draw really hard and of course I've been playing a little heavier in anticipation ( my mistake). ok, I get it, make a profit from all the hopefuls (no second draw so far), but come on at least give us a draw with some decent or normal numbers ( very strange pick3, look at the payouts, very low). they're making a killing on both front...
