Hi all, I am back up and running. (Please read the latest in my blog.)

LSA uses flat text files to store draw data in, this keeps adding draw data to the most basic level possible.

It could be possible (if LSA is not installed as an administrator) windows has not associated the .lsadb files with notepad, if this is the case then when you click the edit icon found bottom left nothing would happen.

If this is happening then do the following.

Navigate to C:\ProgramData\Micracom\Lottery

Hi everyone, I personally like to go with more rescent draws, I thought I read in the lowess graph you should use 8-15 draws is plenty and if its not being updated you are betting on old results so to me is not a good bet, now, if you are betting on the past 100 draws I think you your picks might be better, but overall has a lot of good info and hope Developer answers soon

I've also bought this program and had the same problem, not updating to the last draw. Ive suggested to the developer a manuel update would be helpful, but, I, too, have not recieve a reply. I've decided not to use this program until it is fix. most lottery software programs have a manuel update. Thanks. anybody agree with this

Yes, you need to ask Developer for further instructions since I have not yet met the status.

However, I still want to suggest you that don't focus on the draws update only because you can update it by hand temporarily. Then, watch on the Main Windows to make some statistical analysis and prediction for your lotto game.

To predict your lotto #s, you have to make some back-tests by using LSA. I think this is more important than data update.

Thanks, thats what i just did. I un-installed the zip and downloaded the exe. It wants a code etc. No enter button. Oh well, I wait and see if the author responds today or tomorrow. The screens and everything looks good on the site.

Hi lakeren, you might try uninstalling it,I went to my computer went into add/remove program, found lottery statistic analyzer in program folder right click on it it says uninstall,change or repair,click uninstall and it goes through the uninstall wizard and removes it and after that you might try goin to his websight and tryin again I downloaded the exe. not the zip mabe it might work for you, good luck

The screen I have is asking for a key . Purchase key, enter key, or exit and a help button. There is no enter button . It also asks for a username etc... Can't open. Not good.

It sounds like a real chore to spend all the time trying to figure how to work this program.

I may buy this software if all the kinks get worked out and an option to update to the last draw. I don't have time to spend working to get a software updated etc.

Program's that only update online probably should also have some kind of past draws import wizard such as Expert Lotto has.

I also think that the program should be able to wheel in 2 ways:

In the regular way and

By each position

it should also have filters as filter programs have that is filtered wheelers.

Hi Lottoburg, well I uninstalled the program and reinstalled when it first come I went to database and selected my illinois little lotto it come up under draws and information it shows last draw 8/8/11 then I go do a live update then it says that has been updated go look at draws and info it updated up to as far as 9/11/11 I checked other states databases and its same kindof thing, does it update to within at least 1or 2 draws back for you?or is it several, I tried to contact Developer when this... Two sujestions about your problem:

1) Please run your LSA directly in your C:\PROGRAM FILES (OR X86 IF 64BT) instead in your Desktop;

2) Please re-install your LSA program. And please delete all old LSA files including program from your PC first before the re-installing.

Hi Lottoburg, yea I looked in lower right hand side of page in windows page where it says draws and information Its last draw was 9/11/11 it has updated in past but always at least 5 draws behind never updates to the day before and the page of draws are even more draws back like in August Im presently on another computer at my other house and I dont know how to get to my lsa software from here so cant check for updates will check it again this weekend and drop you another response this has got m... I have tried it following Jamie's instruction just now and it's working for me.

Don't look at the Page of Draws only. You should find the End Draw on the right side has been changed when you open the Page of Windows. Also, all analysis should be made by your update draws. Please check it again.

I have not been posting for a while as I have been working on a filter system for wheeling, it has turned out to be very complex in its code but I now have it running and have won something 3 times from 5 plays using it on the UK pick 6 draw so I am up by quite a bit - very promising.

I will have a look at the software in detail soon but the first thing I noticed when going to the site is Expert lotto costs $79.95 plus a annual subscription for updates.

LSA cost $28 and that's it, once only payment.

I have not used the software so I can't comment on comparisons.

Try Crimson Editor, it's free. Google it. It can do column editing, which allows you to enter zeros down the columns in front of single digits(enter tabs,spaces etc.). You can have the full required alignment of the past draw data done in a matter of minutes.

One big difference is in the math engine, LSA analyses every possible combination and provides stats based on the global draw not just past results.

Also LSA's predictions are 100% unique, no other lottery software uses the methods LSA does. Thanks, I'm starting to understand the LOWESS graphs. When I back test I can get the LOWESS graphs to come within 1 or 2 balls for many/most numbers in each draw. Once I've set the parameters for LOWESS, is there any way to import those parameters directly into the wheels? I will try to explain how to get the most from the LOWESS curve

Over time the results become more and more averaged so using smaller number of draws is best when using LOWESS, 8 to 15 draws should be plenty

I will set the draws to 8 and the smoothness to 0.53

Note when setting smoothness, watch the trend line

Note how the settings are changed in each picture

you don't want it touching each ball

I had also said the same thing as i keep getting the same numbers over and over again and i figured it was due to the fact that it uses stats over a long period of time which wont allow it to change unless you are using fewer draws. But i have not tried it since and i too dont know how to get different results(meaning different numbers). So i have put it aside until now.

Hi Bob I put that 57 line wheel through my wheel checker and was supprised to see such a high preforming wheel, I was just about to ask where you got it... I then relized it was one I created on 15/08/2010.

However this is not in the current release of LSA so I assume this was a wheel I posted here.

The 57 line wheel is as follows

Max combos that will fit in 57 tickets vs wheel results

3 Ball combos = 1140 out of 1140 possible from 57 tickets 100.0000%

I use Windows XP and on the install of the program it says that it can't update Notepad because it is a protected file and so that the program might or will not work right because of that.

The automatic update does not work for me on my computer no matter what I do, so the past draws can only be updated by hand, this is how the draws on the program look like:

Delta Draw why such an in-depth personnel attack?

I have been nothing but been polite, I asked for feedback yet you have spent a considerable time and gone all out to put me and my software down.

There is documentation, over 50 pages on the internet and two help files that come with LSA, one of which is dedicated entirely to wheels and MNAs and explains in depth why the system is better and improves odds over standard wheels plus it even gives comparisons to a world record wheel

I totally agree with you, no software will predict the lottery as it's a random event, if someone made a program to predict the lottery would they sell it, I think not.

Software can however provide pointers, show trends and give global statistics that help the user choose the best numbers to pick.

If someone want software that spits out the next winning combination, it is rather easy to create a random number generator. Not that it will give anyone the winning combination on a plate, but heck...

The best software is the one that provides tools for everyone, or at least 90% of the potential lotteryplayers, that anyone can use to their best benefit.

Software that claims to deliver the next winning combination is software to keep away from. It is crap and theft, plain and simple.

That's karnaugh maps used for boolean reduction in digital circuits. Maybe reduce pick 3 to Or Gates. Either input high produces a high output. However, Dr it may be that the game analysis are getting too complex.

Better to take the last 15 draws and break into groups ,hot,cold, overdue. Groups low hitting etc. Too many variables and it is reduced to mud.

You are correct LOWESS works better with fewer draws, also use the smoothness to reduce the predicted ranges.

If im not mistaken, thats just giving an average range of each ball placement but im wondering if this system will pick its own 6 balls for the next based on all its stats that it gathers.

I did update the recent draws. Maybe thats how it works from the wheels and mna's section and maybe because it takes stats from over a long period of time that the numbers will not change much in a short time period.

use the main window and choose from the drop down box and choose predictions using the lowes tab and there you can choose the indvidual balls for the next draw prediction that is if you also updated your draw database.

again i could be wrong, you may want to ask the developer. I just stumbled and read about it always playing around with the program.

I did purchase it and as a newbie of analysers, im not really sure what to do with it. I can see some stats which are nice but in getting numbers for the next draw, it seems as though it shows the same numbers all the time for every draw.

Can you explain a little on how i can come up with numbers for the next draws better or is that it? Go to Wheels and MNAs and pick one of many sections where you may think the numbers may come from? If so, why are the numbers not changing for each draw?

How is the documentation that comes with the software and can that be downloaded before the purchase?

Most developers write lousy documentation on HOW it is to be applied. You need a list of terms you use and an explanation of what you call anything related to the game and the program. Just a comment... on your home page, you list Austrailian lotteries, U.S. lotteries, Canadian lotteries etc and have the countries flag beside it... CANADA has the Maple Leaf not the flag you have there...

In my day job I write software to test the electrical systems on military aircraft, tanks, ejector seats etc, the maths LSA uses is statistically excellent you can be assured.

LSA works and works well because I made LSA to use data from the entire draw (all possible combinations ) not just a handful of past draws like I see so many others doing. This gives true stats not just part of the picture.

From the comments so far I think I will have to produce a video tutorial with myself using LSA... [ More ]
