I thought the article in the mag was an interview but from the link Todd posted it sounds more like one writers opinion. Is it possible? Yes. Is it likely? Nooooo. And the store suddenly goes out of business? Hmmm! If anything selling those kind of winners would bring in more business. And the Lottery Commission doesn't suspect fowl play?? Double hmmm.

I'm not 100% sure, but I believe it's an even distribution method. But having said that, just like anything that involves random events, a cluster can occur, thus making it look bias. It's rare but it does happen.

I learned this from my Koycerin wagering method. It talks about RNDs, or Random Number Displacement. The clusters are similar to RNDs, but in this case with this lady, it's a more extreme example of an RND occuring on a larger basis, and more rare. RNDs in everyday events happen mor... [ More ]

'tiggs has spoken'

lol tiggs! I like it!

I believe there is a certain manipulation going on if only of the pre-draws. I think that's cheating in itself.

I don't know what all the hooplah is about the lady in Texas..I think that if she were cheating somehow

or had an advantage...wouldn't she have cheated a little more often? And besides, I read in the other

story that 3 of her big wins were from scratch offs...heck, I could probably make that happened if I

really wanted to... [ More ]

The Harpers article talks about how with help from the store owner she could have got inside info.

The week the article was to go to print, the store suddenly closed.

I'm assuming you mean inside info for the scratchers only. Also, how would the owner know which scratcher would be a winner?, because If he/she knew, they'd keep that info to themself, then find a trusting friend to cash it in and keep most of the profits.
