Pretty much what I was thinking. I'd want advanced play forms, which would allow things like positional, or box wheels, that payout odds times wager.

And yeah, a fixed payout 20,000 dollar lottery, for .10 cents a piece would be nice, especially in combination with advanced play like full and key wheels, and maybe abbreviated wheels, although that'd be a little tougher to do properly.

Games like Kentucky Cash Ball with fixed payoffs could easily sell 10 cent tickets with a minimum $1 bet. For a $1 you get 10 chances to win $20,000 compared to 1 chance to $200,000. It would be more difficult with jackpot games like PB and MM. It might be interesting when 10% of the jackpot was won and the other 90% is applied to the next drawing.

I'll bet they got the minimum purchase requirement from casino Keno games. Way tickets are similar to lottery wheels; a 14 number pick-5 abbreviated 3 if 4 wheel has 19 ways. Players can play for 50 cents a way by playing 10 or more ways on one game. By putting 8 numbers into four 2-spots (4 ways), six 4-spots, four 6-spots, and one 8-spot, the player has 15 ways and can play that ticket for 50 cents a way. By playing 21 or more ways they get can play for 25 cents a way.

Yea, I'd prefer either just a 5/5 prize, or maybe also a 4/5 prize, as well.

5/30 for .10 cents a piece, with a 10,000 dollar prize for matching all 5.

Actually I wish I was in charge of a Lottery Commision lol. I got some ideas.

Yeah, and you can purchase in increments of .25 and .50 cents after the first dollar's worth.

Hi dr,

You can play Cash5 in Virginia for $1 or .50 cents or .25 cents.

Jackpots are $100,000, $50,000 and $25,000 respectively.

You do have to spend a minimum of a dollar though with .25 cent and .50 cent games.

Remember the price of a lottery ticket includes a commission to the retailer for selling and redeeming it, so there's a minimum expense in just the production of a ticket and 25 will not cover much.

Michigan once had a game called small change that could be played for as little as a quarter but they discontinued it I suspect because it couldn't generate enough profit to make it worth while.

In NJ, they'll take suggestions for new Instant Games, but they won't compensate you for your idea if they decide to use it (at least, they didn't use to.) It couldn't hurt to suggest the addition of a .25 cent play (we don't have that in NJ), but you might have better luck suggesting a new type of scratch-off ticket. If they need to modify the Pick-3 system in your State it might be cost prohibitive for them to do right now. I would think they'd need to reprogram the machines tha... [ More ]

Oh ok, Arkansas, I know where that's at.

That's where Slick Willy , Hillary and grovel come from.

AR is kinda new to this yet and you've already had some charges of corruption being tossed around. You could wield a lot of power if you could get everybody to work together but you know how that goes.

All you can do is keep the pressure on them. Write letters, make phone calls, notify your Attorney General and call your Congressmen etc.

You always have the power not to play or buy games in adjacent states.

When Ohio saw players from Ohio winning PowerBall and BigGame in Indiana and Michigan it got MegaMillions. When it continue to see Ohio players winning PowerBall in Indiana, they got PowerBall too. Some states offer so much more in their games for ex.

We don't have the .25 cents Pick3 and I wonder why some states have it and others don't. How do we get our state to change it.

We don't have 2.00 scratch off cards to win 1,000 a week for 20 or 30 years (sorry don't remember the exact # of years).

It's just so much we don't have...we don't have a $10 card for a chance to win millions. We have $50 cards (not much to win for $2) I pass on this... I will come back and mention all the ca... [ More ]
