When I go to win 7 on my laptop and use various programs it either gives me a compatability error or the the excel program quits working entirely. Thats why I keep the old xp&#x27;s around. 			<description><![CDATA[<p>Yesterday with just a dial-up Internet connection I downloaded the newest VMware Player it is 116 MBs, it is very big for download using a dialup connection, I had to use a download manager and it took many hours to download, but got downloaded O.K.<br /><br />Without a good download manager it can&#x27;t be downloaded using dialup, you need at least DSL.</p>]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>I contacted Ldir tech support. They said Microsoft offers 2 free downloads. Virtual PC and Virtual XP. Go to the MS site in search enter Virtual XP Mode and follow the instructions. Install PC first then XP. After they are installed you will see a selection for XP on the starting menu. Click on it and you can install the Ldir and simillar programs. It only works for windows professional and higher. I will try it later, wish me luck! Thanks guys.</p>]]></description>

Even if you can drop to a dos prompt, it can be a big mistake trying to install a dos program as it can overwrite windows programs in big chunks like it doesn&#x27;t know they&#x27;re there.<br /><br />The Lottery Director installs from windows without a dos prompt or a dos pif. It downloaded but when I try to open it to install it, I get a msg saying the version of this file is not compatible with the version of windows I am using. So I can&#x27;t even open it.<br /><br />It&#x27;s a trial version and if you decide to keep it you can register with lottery director, but they are not taking new registrations after Jan 1. They even say if you can&#x27;t install it you can remove/delete it. According to their tech support, Microsoft made the decision to support legacy sites like L.D. with 32 and 64 bits on Microsoft Enterprise, Ultimate, and Professional. But only 32 bits on the Home Premium which I have. I have no idea how to download 32 bits onto my laptop. Their site says 64 bits on the Home Premium is not compatible with their system.</p>]]></description>

Joe&#x27;s software made playing the lottery more fun and his support was second to none.
