To answer the original question,

the most i spent on 5/39 on one draw was 31 dollars where i played banker number 11, and i got it right

i got one 3/5 win

and approximately 10 2/5 correct. (free plays, which are then donated to the nevada showgirls association of america)

i have gone a little over board in 6/40

playing 60 dollars on a draw which was a wash.

I use my own wheel with parameters. Wheeled mostly by intuition and not conditions or wheel guarantees.

Well, you raise a few good points, but for one, I'm not playing QP. I'm also well-versed in gambling, and you are assuming by what I've said that I am not, simply because you do not understand. It may be silly to you, but you have to understand, playing more combinations is not always better, this i agree with when it comes to thrifty. Here he makes sense. A good spreadsheet can help you stay balanced and in focus.

He becomes non-sensical when he says it is better to play quick picks.

If you play 1000 lines then you are truly gambling. Gambling is an art.

I think Bernoulli wrote the first gambling treatise. It was titled the Art of Conjecture. (Ars conjectandi) in latin.

I appreciate your opinion, but it's not the farm , and I do not agree with the idea that playing the same amount of money over more draws will yield better, or even equal results. Of course it will ... sometimes , but on average I think the best way to go is to bet the farm . Spreading your bet money over many draws to me is just silly.

Now, if I havent played the lottery in some time, as well as gave up some conveniences(as well as having a decent salary at work), then $1000 is no big dea... [ More ]

I think the most I spent is $50. Not counting the pool money I once was able to gather at work.

But those were quick picks, I don't think it's doable to come up with more then 5-10 meaningful combinations. Anything above this, is not a system but pure gambling, same as QP.

I learned not to play QP in a real life scenario. I hit 5 of 5 so far four times playing 28 numbers and a 4 if 4 wheel hit once after reducing the 98.280 lines down to 4932 lines.

Wow, thanks for that. Ya, that is some serious bad luck not hitting anything in 20-30 tickets. I've won $100 a couple times and $50 a few, but generally Ive conceded that scratch tickets are the worst way to spend my money, so I wont buy any unless I really want to, which is hardly ever these days. Poker is the best way to make money gambling imho, and the returns *can* be good, but like most people, I yearn for that one big jackpot.

I get paid monthly and right after payday I usually will spend around $100 per day for a couple of days on mostly pk 3 and daily 4 plus buy about $100 of various $5-$20 scracth offs here in Texas. It almost never pays off. I have won a few hundred on all combined plays/scratchers for a given day but I can also recall not winning one single penny. I can remember on one occasion spending $120 on 20-30 scratch off tickets of various amounts, going home scratching them and not winning on any ticket

however a few weeks back i got a $50 tip for 1 of the easiest jobs i do, i think they were embarresed by the problem they caused themself.

anyway the JC5 was up to $550,000 for 4/11/12

now i often get 2/5 on my reg. #s so i made 30 selfpicks w/ each having 2 of my reg.#s and some close variation of #s i recently missed

on draws where i had 2/5

and 20 QPs

results, several tix. had 2/5 nothing better

The most I ever put on 1 set of pick 3 numbers for 1 draw is $10.00.

I put a 10 spot on 823 on a Monday, it hit on a Tuesday and I only had $4.00 on it straight, and it hit.

Same thing happened when I went for a triple, it hit the next day.

I want to be brave one day, and put $50.00 on one set of Pick 3 winning numbers.

um they sometimes do a 2 for 1 deal if you buy a 30 game maxi pick out here. as its a cheaper game, its ummm $17 for the 30 quick pick . so 2 for means 60 games for $17. they also did a v8 car draw after the months worth of doing 2 fors. ie ea ticket you entered your name and adress on the bck of, got entered to a barrel at the end of month for a car.
