I decided to try taking the previous draw and changing each number by adding one number and then creating another set from the previous draw by taking one number away. Its worth a shot.

example: Mass cash last night was 2 - 14 - 22 - 26 - 30

1-13-23-27-29

3-15-23-27-31

or if E number change it the next closest odd number and visa versa for odd to even

1-12-20-25-29

I doubt if anyone could even convince JKing to do extra work to satisfy their curiosity, what make you think any one could be convinced to do the same for him. If he want to know what and how other members are doing, he just have to do the work himself of tracking them.

What JKing postulated, in my understanding, is a sort of simulation to evaluate and possibly compare, different prediction methods introduced on LP, using the same, or at least similar, criteria. Which, in my opinion, would be quite interesting. Unfortunately, I don't think he managed to convince many, which is a pity. Prediction board results do not specify what is being played.

If you're really interested in what players generally spent to win a dollar just check the prediction board results. It has a section that post the winnings and costs of the predictions by predictors.

The only useful criterium to evaluate a lottery system, whatever it is - a dime a dozen or a well thought out system is through the backtrack, preferably based on the most recent data, although historical data can also be used.

Is it just me or is the LP a place where lottery systems are just a dime a dozen?

Wouldn't it be nice to be able to seperate ideas just being floated around versus a well thought out system.

Perhaps if posters would include things like:

Projected payoff frequency.

The bet amount required per draw.

If the system is historically back tested.

What state it applies to.

etc.......

It could almost be an optional paste in form for this foru... [ More ]

Thank you sir, its funny that I had to hit 5 of 5 .......... 5 times already before it dawned on me that I could be playing an abrieviated wheel provided by LP and at least covering 41 lines of the entire wheel......

I own a debt of thanks to Stack who kept telling me over and over that its a good idea to play those lines.

Do some number combinations have better odds?

By choosing a group of 28 numbers that contains the 5 winning numbers, and playing a 2 if 2 of 28 wheel I have reduded my odds from 1 in 3.8 million to 1 in 2397. Can anyone dispute this

I kind of hate to stick my neck out here but a I think we are taking this out of context just a bit. I

admit I was shocked by the title but I feel I know JKING and don't believe he meant it the way that

most are taking it. Let's face it, most so called systems have not been subjected to the level testing

that he is suggesting and I would like to see a forum where ideas could be tossed around and proven.

This whole thread was of no benefit to anyone that I've heard from. I've had several pm's sent to me and they said the systems are making them money. This site is more benefical is people use it in a positive way. Experience, I have decades of experience in the lottery, horseracing and gambling at casino's, and I never have seen negative verbage that has helped anyone.

Yes, the same type of tracking is equally applicable to the jackpot games. I ran the above only to test if the same concept was valid for pick 3 games (it is).

No wonder you are thinking lottery systems here are a dime a dozen, there must be hundreds of pick3 systems posted at LP and most by players who actually play and post predictions for them so you can check their performance.

The new system I posted this morning hit straight this evening in Florida. Its funny that people become critics and don't know how to do anything else and then they eat crow.

Pooling the talents of LP members isn't a new idea, it has been mentioned many times in the past. The problem is players who spend time coming with their own strategies for picking their numbers aren't interested in someone else telling them what to do.

There are lots of frustrated lottery players out there looking for some magical or easy way to score a big win and most know they aren't going to find it in the postings of other frustrated players. Those who don't will soon learn. Mean while there's no reason we shouldn't enjoy telling our stories and sharing our ideas, no one is harmed by them even if they aren't help by them.

If a person is smart enough to backtest and find a good system then more power to them. I have had many messages in my mailbox from people that have won from my systems. This is a lottery forum not a debate.

Some of what you call 'floating ideas' are just different ways of coming up with numbers that people have decided to use, and share.

Some are 'paper pencil' methods, some are things like using a key pad. Todd has provided a feature to convert words into numbers.

A lor of people enjoy doing this kind of stuff.

I've developed a substitution system that is working for me, IF MY CHOICES ARE CORRECT.

I've shared the basic foundation here at LP several times.

However, I've not posted some improvements.

The problem is that many LP regulars/visitors seem to be looking for a working system that doesn't require

effort/work on their part.

Basically, they want to depress a key and have breakfast served in bed, so to speak.

No such system exists, never will exist.

I still am of the opinion, that some sort of measure should be used to separate a floating idea from a post that has had some work put into it. In addition, any type of measure to keep different flavors of the same failed methods from appearing at the LP over and over would be a plus to all. device that can pull a rabbit out of the hat on demand. There are no systems that can do that. I have

if you have a hit simply it is a coincidence and the combination you hit is simply one of the 1000 odds in pick three game.

You don't get that kind of service from vendors selling lottery systems and they're doing it for a living. LP members are just hobbyist who enjoy sharing ideas and information about lotteries. Beside what you are proposing sounds more like work than fun.

If I were a poster of a system I don't think I would take the step that you are asking them to do. They will have done most of the work, already.
