I understand that a person can't create a system that beats randomness without actually removing the randomness of the whole thing which would involve manipulation of the physical device used to create the random number.

Systems are created to match the randomly drawn numbers even if the system is buying a QP at 3:27 PM the day of the drawing. Overtime the random drawing statistics will show a bias where some numbers are drawn more than others and groups of numbers are drawn more than other... [ More ]

Are you being serious or not? Because if no one in the history of MM and PB has ever won with just one line, all of those people, including me, who are buying just one line per game might as well not play.

I might have to rethink my stragety of instead of buying one line per game, buy 5 lines when the jackpot hits $100 million. Now I know why people never play until the jackpot hits a certain amount.

From the reasearch I've done so far, from Brad Duke to the latest PB jackpot winner, they all had 4-5 lines on each ticket and the winning number was never on Line A . So what does it all mean? The point of this thread was for people to post MM or PB jackpot winners who won with just one line, so far I have not been able to find any.

One person can play 175,000 lines per draw and never hit anything. (using QPs)

And another person can play 98.820 lines per draw and hit 5 of 5 over and over and over and over.....

USA lotteries will have a $5 minimum to play online. The Illinois lottery requires a minimum purchase of $5 to play lottery games online. I guess you will never buy lottery tickets over the Internet.lol

In the grand scheme of things, and statistics backs this up, buying 1 ticket or 1000 tickets doesn't really matter. Buying 1000 powerball lotto ticket instead of just one does not increase your odds of winning the jackpot by any significant amount. Your best bet is to buy 1 ticket if any at all.

This question does seem familiar and as I said in that thread no one can ever know, but the player how many tickets/lines were played. Most people do not want to be perceived as compulsive gamblers.

If I ever won i can claim I bought one ticket as I play my lines separately.

I'm having a hard time finding MM and PB jackpot winners who won by buying just one line. The guy who won the $587.5 million Powerball bought 5 tickets. It shouldn't make a difference if a guy buys 1 or 100 tickets right? Let's try to find some lottey jackpot winners who won with just one line ok? I'm debating if it's even worth it to buy 1 line per game or if I should buy 5 lines.
