I agree with you on several points.

There is a lot of faulty software out there.

And people do not take the time to understand what the software will do and what it won't.

The third most common reason, people can't win is lack of available data. Two years ago when we broke the Texas Cash5 into little pieces of info, we found a bunch of 0,1, and 2s.

You can analyze 0,1,2 all day long, but not with any definity.

Software itself won't win.

That is some excellent work jim. You put some remarkable foresight in your setup. That is something I've been mulling.

Although I have nothing against preset filters, I think the ability to set your own parameters and type of filter is important. Certainly not an easy job when all flters are not equal, and I agree with your choice of sum as a base filter. Most people will never take the time to understand how the filter works and how it affects the overall performance of any program.

I al... [ More ]

That it no longer rolls over is another drawback. That the first prize money is distribute among those who pick 4 of 5 is not a big selling point. Where 4 of 5 would pay $90 to $130 if the jackpot is won, 4 of 5 pays $450 to $500. Not musch different than putting a buck on Pick 3.

The payouts went from $250,000 to $25,000.
